I bought the £6 tray with gold handles and a huge wooden vase for dried stems for £12. Couldn't believe the later, was like something you'd buy in John Lewis or H&M for £40. The Pep and Co homewares have gotten really good. More real wood, less MDF. More glass, more ceramics, less plastic.

Hi Kim, aw that is wonderful to hear. It really is just the case of being aware isn’t it! I use liquid detergent and I have just switched to Aldi’s own brand - it’s so cheap and all of Aldi’s own products are cruelty free 🐰 I think they also do a powder detergent if you prefer that. M&S all own brand products are also cruelty free that’s what I’ve replaced my vanish white Oxy action with their own brand! Took me awhile to find an alternative for that one, but once you know you know 😊🤍

Thank you! I said highly recommend the *brand* because they are cruelty free, I have used herbal essence shampoo and conditioner for years so I do recommend them anyway!

I know I see this all the time! I imagine it’s a huge thing changing the name of a company, and they are feeling f the pressure to compete with B&M and Home Bargains now

They may still call it Poundland but there are very few things that are only one pound. Most of the goods are overpriced trash. Gone are the days when it truly was a pound per item. Chinese trash.
