Pound for Pound - Strongest Weightlifters in Olympic history | Top Moments

Спорт

📲 Want to watch live sport and original documentaries for free? Check out our website: oly.ch/WatchLiveSport
Enjoy watching the Top 10 strongest weightlifters in Olympic history! Weightlifting is a very traditional Olympic sport. Its two competition lifts in order are the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. The Snatch is a wide-grip, one-move lift. The Clean and Jerk is a close-grip, two-move lift. Each weightlifter receives three attempts in each, and the combined total of the highest two successful lifts determines the overall result within a bodyweight category. These athletes have competed in different Bodyweight categories. All of them were the strongest of their category and were able to lift multiple times their Bodyweight. Which one is the strongest Weightlifter for you? Let us know in the comments.

190kg at 60kg?!?!? And you know what's even crazier? This guy did this in 1988, meanwhile we're in 2020 which is 32 years later with better workout equipment, techniques, performance enhancing drugs and nobody comes even close to this feat of strength, what a guy... Rest in peace

8:21 Naim is the one and only weitghtlifter in history who achieved that. Even today after 32 years the best cj lift is 174 kg in 61 kg category. Lifting 190 kg in 60 kg category is unbelieveable. Naim lifts 10 kilos more than his triple bodyweight. What a groundbreaking superhuman strenght. Rest in peace great champion.

Because Halil Mutlu lifted 5.45 times his body weight on 2000 when he was competing in Sydney Olympic Games. His body weight was 56 kg and he lifted 305.5 kg on total.
