Good try, I got a Troy Bilt chainsaw and it was worth the $200. Paid itself off on the first job and have used it on multiple jobs.

There’s a few screws and you don’t need a torx bit has a slit for a flat head screw driver that’s all you need to take off for access to carb an lines

That screw is (@2:47) is the throttle screw.

Took it to a scrap yard so at least can get melted down.

Cheap eBay carbs means shitty results and next to no longevity my neighbor has this model His carb went and since I have a whole sale cert and commercial accounts I got a 128.47 dollar carb including tax. My cost after tax was only 16.39 that was 5 yrs ago he’s had it a total of 10-years and even though he put an 18 inch bar on it and heats his home via an outdooor incinerator stove it gets used ALOT!!!!!! To keep him warm and the saw will start after sitting in his garage for 5-10 days he doesn’t even use the primer just choke and at the max 2 pulls and choke goes off and idles smooth. Chinese eBay parts are 98.9999% are trash!

Can’t agree more on that! If I had spent more than 10 bucks on this for sure would have got a better carb for it.
