I can't believe it! Only posted 1 minute ago. Thank you for taking us along all this week! It's very much appreciated.

Yayyyy you’re so early 👏 thank you for watching!!
Our girl Fern is GRINDING that plant content 🤌🌿
I’m having a tough week and just want to say that your daily videos are keeping me afloat! Looking forward to watching this one!
Love that you show us neglected projects ... we all have 'em ... and "think out loud" as you decide which substrate, pot to use. So we can learn your ways, oh planty goddess. Thanks for the M-F videos this week, Fern.
I love your laid back videos and the way you are yourself and honest down to earth and don’t put on trying to be something you aren’t. Keep them coming!!!!
whoopsies I'm late, but still enjoying a Fern video while taking care of my plants makes me feel like we are besties
“pingdom”. I love that. Lol 😂
I’m loving waking up and finding a new Fern video when I get out of the shower and am ready for the day fantastic videos so far and a variety of subjects. You are spoiling us. 😊
My husband just repeated "nice and variegated" lol he overhears your videos all the time 💀😂

"New special plant treatment" is so real. lol 😅
I loved the look on the Hoya in the glass container! Can't wait to see your babies grow!
I'm a huge fan of my moss poles in pon. I don't have to worry about over watering and the moss wicks water from the substrate really well. Win-win

Love this, need to try that because I really worry about the soil being too damp while I’m trying to keep the pole hydrated.
Fern those perlite chunks look like icebergs in those pots 😂 It makes me so happy you’re thinking about keeping the Tortum. I was genuinely sad when you said you would be getting rid of her… And if you’re feeling attachment to it, with as many plants as you take care of, I feel like that speaks volumes 💚 Maybe hold onto her until you’re SURE you’ll like the new one just as much? Also, I’m having visions of your Patriciae on your Rousseau wood stand hanging on your wall and it’s going to be epic 😍 Thank you for a week full of planty content. You spoil us!
I have some plants in diy pon mixed with perlite and they are doing great! It’s the big chunky perlite like what you are using. Thanks for the fun week of videos! ❤

Oh yay that’s awesome! I’m hoping mine do well in it too 😁
I am just loving these daily posts honestly such a treat!! ❤
I don't know how relevant it is, but I found an old mom's book about plants and advice for installing a pole so that it doesn't wobble - struts at the bottom of the claw. I had such a problem and it helped me, so I recommend trying it. If anyone has a problem

Pleaseee do tell more about this method!! 👀
I love the self watering pots fern! But make sure the clear ones don't get too much light hitting the reservoir or algae will grow and become unsightly 😅
Your new monstera albo is just stunning!!!

I’m so obsessed!! 🥹 thank you :)
Noooooo, please don’t give up on your Tortum!!! You’re the one who inspired me to get one more to create a larger pot like yours. My ultimate fav plant💚💚.
You could always plant, once it gets larger, the P. Polypodioides with the Tortum. Would be a fun mixed pot and help save floor space.
With regard to potting in Pon, semi hydro set up, I always use some chunky perlite in the Pon for a couple of reasons...it makes the mix a bit lighter and stretches the Pon a bit further for me now that I'm using the Lechuza brand. So far so good!
Looks like a huge pot for that plant
Loving the series 👍 Looking forward to the Pingdom 😂🇨🇦
you inspired me to get my very own P. Tortum so hearing you had thoughts of getting rid of her was SO SAD, but also very reasonable 😂 (plant space is PRECIOUS)
My esqueleto and dubia are in Lechuza, growing roots in insane rocket mode😂

Ahh so awesome!! 👏
The pon + moss pole combo is aesthetically pleasing lol
I love your videos thank you for sharing them I love your babies are adorable
I put a long piece of 1x2 wood for my Epi albo to climb on and it’s loved it! It’s getting the tiny fenestrations as well so i think it’s very happy!!😊
at 5:37 it looks like fern is showing us her perlite soup
I mixed my pon with perlite also. I was so low so it stretched it a little further
❤ Thank you miss fern for helping me get my plant chores done!!❤love from Boston, Massachusetts 🇺🇸
Oh yay! I'm so glad you are talking about pon. I just bought all the fixin's to do diy pon and will be giving it a go tomorrow! I'll come back in the morning to finish this vid :) ... OMG, it's after midnight, I mixed a bunch of perlite in mine too and it looks awesome.... ok for real - got to go, lol!!
Please keep the Philodendron Tortum!!! Its so pretty!❤
Yes!! I bet the plants are so much happier now 😊

LOVE these pots. You showed them in another video and I found them on amazon. My monstera mint is doing amazing in a 6" one. Im gonna have to try and find bigger ones like yours soon. Thank you for these videos.
I wish I was there in your weather! It’s 98 degrees with heat index of 106. It’s blazing here in Texas.
I'm watching this while I pot up some new (and really cool!) anthurium seedlings I just got in the mail ❤❤awesome timing 😂❤

Omg! You are making my week! I’m so happy and thankful for your videos. ❤
I think you could just snap the bottom of that off and fill it with dirt and just make sure that the water didn’t pool in that bottom section that you would normally fill with water. I bet the plant being in substrate up off the table without the bottom snapped on would help increase airflow even more and make a plant Extremely happy.
I recently started using those translucent semi hydro pots you showed in this video, and loving the look!
My epi albo I just let grow wild, I have one in pon and 2 in soil and they’re trailing and seem happy :) Also you’re doing so well! So proud of you for seeing what’s wrong and fixing it 💚🌵🪴

Do they fenestrate? Or do the leaves stay smaller? I think I might let one of my cutting just trail, I hadn’t even thought of that!
I’m so glad to hear that you’re reconsidering getting rid of your tortum! I honestly got one of those because I seen it in your video and thought “ooohhh I NEED one of those” now I have a baby one and it’s doing great! Very easy to grow. Thanks for all the videos this week I know you must be a busy lady with all those plants and planty projects! Keep up the good work I learn so much from you! ❤☺️
I am LOVING watching you every day!!! 💚
Day 3!!! 👏🏻🎉❤
That Longiloba is so cute with its little horns!
Moss pole with pon works great! Better than soil IMO! Thanks for your dedication to your videos! Love them all!
Really love this special week so far. We are getting spoiled ❤🪴
Came to see the terracotta cup! I have one too that says “plant lady.”
I’m loving all the videos this week! Plant chore videos are my favorite. 👍❤️
Every day is awesome day just watching your videos, thank you fern ❤🎉
Holy moly I can’t keep up lol. I feel plant parent shamed 😂 but this makes me organize and get some MUCH NEEDED repotting done
Oh! Can’t wait for the Pingdom!!!😊

My Epipremnum Pinnatum Variegata’s on a zigzag trellis as I deeply dislike moss poles. And it’s been ok under a grow light / putting out new leaves.
You using the ladle cracked me up ❤️ I love it
You are spoiling us fern! Love the new semi-hydro setup with the chunky perlite, i think it looks great😊
Super thrive is soo great for Orchids, they luv luv luv it....😊
This was such a great treat!!!! I am jealous of those clear pots tho, amazing! I do think you will LOVE the pon Fern. Everything I’ve planted in pon is thriving. Can’t wait for updates. Thank you!
I don’t particularly like self-watering pots, but your plants seems to love it 🤓 loved your video as usual !!
I have the same mug 😊 from my sister
I’ve been thinking about trying leca or pon for some of my plants that like to stay a little more moist like my marantas and Calathea, Maybe time to finally give it a shot, we shall see.
Loving your week of videos. Would love to know where you got pots from.
I love the large size perlite. Coarse #4. I’ve got it in my potting mix. Makes it look like landscape rocks. Very airy potting mix.
FERN, I REALLY ENJOY S÷ING YOUR VIDEOS EVERYDAY, HOPEFULLY YOU WILL DO IT AGAIN AFTER THE FIVE DAYS ARE DONE.
I’m growing my epi albo on a coir pole same with my Peru. What’s worked for me to get them climbing is to use a small halo grow light above them so they will climb the coir pole to get to the light. Loving all the videos this week 💚
Hello Fern from Puerto Rico!! Both my Epipremnum Pinnatums are growing well with the moss poles. Enjoy!! 😊
I grow my Epi Pinnatum on a 4 foot stake! It's attached and is getting larger now the problem is figuring out how I'm going to extend it. I have an Epi Albo as well that I will be putting on a stake. Definitely prefer that to moss poles for these plants.
Love this series! Thanks for sharing Fern!
I am bad with plants and thus am more of a fern vlog watcher, but I HAVE to comment on your mug!!! Cutest thing ever 🪴

You can get the pots on Temu
Another great video. Thanks Fern😊😊
The big perlite chonks kind of look like snow on top of the pon to me 🤣☃️
Keep the tortem! 😂
Sorry your Calathea - Warscewiczii died. A lot of calatheas are drama queens at the best of times. I have placed my Warscewiscii in leca and it lost all its leaves. All that is left is a small shoot waiting for springs warmer weather. I think areas where the temperature drops below 10 degrees, these plants may need to be placed in prop boxes for added humidity and warmth. Pingdom🤣🤣🤣 Love it!!!!
I love your shirt!!! (And your laugh 👀)❤
I’m growing Pinnatum Albo on a stake. It adheres itself nicely and it’s sizing up but still small as it started teeny tiny. It may size up quicker on a moss pole but so far it’s doing its thing just fine.
Keep the tortum 🎉
Doing my monthly succulent watering. I think it's time to water every two weeks now !
I was so excited to use a home pon mixture, I spent a lot to make sure I had the best mix possible. I started off with 2 alocasia and sadly they're both slowly dying. I have tons more of this mix but I'm afraid to try it again!
What is the (coffee)you drink, not sure if it’s a coffee but it looks so creamy and yummy. Thanks Love all your plants and the great info you provide.
Hy Fern, ich habe alle Pflanzen in Lechuza Töpfen. Gibt es bestimmt auch in Kanada. Lg aus Deutschland
Don't get rid of your plant you know you'll regret it it's such a beautiful beautiful plant
It’s no wonder that you leave cuttings in water. You have so many plants to already that need your care
❤❤❤
Pleeeez film the ping repot!
Eh you gotta do what you gotta do when doing plant chores 😂💚
I’ve been watching now for a couple of months and this series made me SO happy, BUT…. I’m still trying to figure out what Suncatchers you use? Please respond to me! I’m dying to get my hands on a couple and also, you’ve inspired me soooo much! Thank you!
🥰
Nice plants n all but I NEED THAT T-SHIRT! Where’s it from?
My epipremnum albo i actually have on a pot with a chopped up log(4.5-6 inch diameter, driftwood piece with no bark) in an 8 inch pot and its doing well :) I dont know if that helps you decide on a stake for it or not
💚🌿
Third dayyyyy in a rowwwww🫡🎀🌿
I am thinking about transitioning a hoya publicalix from soil to pon. It would be my first semi hydro plant. Would love to see some tips for transitioning from soil!!

Woohooo!! 👏
I would think the moss pole in pon would stay too wet and causes root rot.
I'm new into semi-hydro (I have two hoyas in old jars in lechuza pon) Thanks for the video fern!!❤ I wonder, is it important to keep the water on the level where it touches the roots? Or should it be lower than the roots? I'm so lost, but i really like semi-hydro🫠
@wildfern
17 күн бұрын
Usually lower than the roots (the pon I’ll wick it up to the roots!) but the plant will eventually grow down into the water, which is fine for the most part but you have to keep an eye out for rot :)
Fern Where did you saw those Plant pots came from, Please? I would love to be able to get some. I like clear pots, to see Root Growth. Thanks, From Alberta, Canada
