Pothead was founded 1991 by Brad and Jeff Dope, Seattle.
On holidays in Europe they decided not to return to the States, find a german drummer, the third one meanwhile, and stay in Berlin.
In 2000 they bought back the rights of their old albums and since then publish on their own label. They also record themselves, mix and master, do all the graphics and distribute from home. You only get their CDs on their homepage and you will get them signed with a postcard if you do so. They also offer a free download (Web-Mix) compilation of their work 'til now. The Homepage is also designed by Jeff Dope and well worth visiting - for the amazing graphic and for good, straight ROCK music.
Their Live act broadcasted by the ROCKPALAST series boosted their name quite a bit. Was about time.

Ich nicht, ehrlich gesagt. Ich war schon immer hier. Da ich das Video hochgeladen habe. Inzwischen check ich, dass Olli Schulz im Twitter Podcast etwas gesagt oder getan hat, das echte Menschen hierher (zu mir) lockt. Aber was? Habe keinen Twitter Account. Klärt mich jemand auf? Bitte? ;-)

@@larsbollo2669 Danke für die Aufklärung. Und Ja Pothead sind heiss. Jede CD. Jedes Konzert. Hammer!! Ihre Scheiben kann man nur über ihre Homepage ergattern da sie ihre Sachen selbst vertreiben. Kein Amazon etc...

Bluebottled Moonwalk potion from PocoLoco and a time capsule on the balcony going forward "dead slow". Sun curtain in my back. The smell of arab spices and Ligeti choirs in the air as a big black monolith parks his housboat in the street and hoists a flag saying "UNO Domino". The crowd laughs. The choir subsides. The monoliths falls, The boat tips and from the galley fried icecream balls are rolling onto the street. The crowd gathers at the fence, waving and blowing air at them. But the batter cracks and the icecream melts into the tarmac with a hot air balloon sound. I think i caught a heatstroke. I should go back in...
