Loved this, people mostly focus on the expensive drones which leads to drones of this range being left out. Thanks for the test! Would love to see how it performs in high winds

had 8mph winds w 14 ish gusts yesterday, was good but never went over 70 ft still testing .WE live on a lake and swamp. water on 3 sides so ...lol

Nice drone. The camera quality looks great. It's kind of scary when you get way out there and prey she comes back. "Please connect to the drone" lol You are. I like how you included the take off and landing. Great job and super cool location.

love mine , most start range test up wind so return boosts return in case of issues . Follow a road or tracks where u have a line of sight even though u cant see it its pretty cool especially for price Best wishes !!

@@torontorc4637 Further than I've ever flown my original Mavic Mini, although mine is the CE version so has less range than the FCC version.

@@mauriciobecker7916 You're correct that there isn't a seperate CE model for the Mini 2 like there is for the original Mavic Mini. But the Mini 2 for the CE market EU and UK, is limited in transmit power by a considerable amount, however there is a hack available to make the CE version 'think' it is the FCC version.

I like the footage myself,the lack of a true gimble doesn’t seem to detract much and im honestly looking forward to using piloting skills instead of just relying on electronics to get my footage which i know i can do. This clip,i didnt see any shake and the footage was plenty smooth.

Mine only goes around 500-600meters before poor signal. Can anyone help me with this? I live in a suburban area so I don't understand why it has bad connection.

Anything on the 2.4g frequency could interfere, and in urban areas there is a lot of it

Use reflectors on rc antenna and you will reach 3km

The setting did say max range 4 kilometres. 2 kilometers isn't bad though

I am always only getting a range of 400m. Can you please explain why this is the case?
