POTA Day with QRM at Everglades National Park.

After a whole week of rain in Miami, I decided to activate POTA from my car. My kids are on summer break so I brought them with me.

Doing an activation with your kids is a great way to work on loose focus! That is awesome that your son is learning CW!! 73, Patrick KF4LMZ

Bien hecho, Lidi! I have a hard time concentrating on copying, let alone listening for the kids as well. Impressive!

Great activation, Lidi! That's some real skill - operating and keeping up with the kiddos simultaneously! 73 de N4AAJ

Great job Lidi!!! Activating in chaos is an added stressor for sure but still the fun is worth it 🙂 - Becky - N4BKY

Nice work ! Holding the paddle in the hand takes some getting use to. Great video and bringing the kids along for a radio adventure.

Kids are cute. That’s wonderful that your son is interested in CW. You’ll be doing dual activations soon.

I often sit my paddle on my leg and hold it down with one hand send with other hand. It can be tricky sometimes if you don't have a solid bench or table. Well done all the same.

This KQ3Q's ONE YEAR Anniversary of starting CW. She learned fast and is doing wonderfully. Congratulations 🎉 It is different being the center of the pile-up! Your videos are always so much fun. So is Cloe going to work on her license this summer? I know Vincent knows CW already! That sounds like a good summer project to me!

Excellent job Lidi. You did a great job at making contacts. When it comes time to multi task and I get overwhelmed I, take a step back, deep breath and regroup. Excellent video. Lidi, do you like that CW key? I have a CW Morse straight key with an oscillator but would like to get a paddle. Thank you for sharing Lidi.

Well, I cannot say that I love the key. As long as the key is on a stable position then I am ok. I tried the Begali traveler’s key and that has a nice feeling but I cannot afford it right now. 😅

Mistakes like Dah di di di Dah dit are okay. The other station knows what you mean. You went on and that is fine. I'm sure it's not a mistake anyway and really just an artifact of your non-optimal setup. N9XR
