Awesome teaching video, please keep it up!!! Just one little critic I have is the to loud music in the outtro... it would be much nicer, if it was a little quieter, so what you´re saying in the outtro can be understood properly

Glad I could help! Study hard. You got this! 🙌🙌🙌
Sir, you're saving my ass as I have "pins" this Wednesday (if you don't know, in Polish medical universities we call pins those practical tests, where we have pins inserted in the muscles, ligaments, cables etc.), which will determine, whether I'll be forced to write an exam at the end of an academical year, that when passed will allow me to write the real exam.

We had the same pin-type practical exams, which were not fun! Having to take another written exam is a tough punishment though for you guys. I hope you do well! 🤞💪👍

@@MemorizeMedical Well, sir, I've got it. I passed, as well as 60-70% of my group I have lectures with. I'll not be a subject for as we call that additional written test "bandit". Your video helped me a bit to get hold of the knowledge, just I was the one at fault, as I forgot to either write down it's a tendon instead of muscle itself or they've inserted a pin into a nerve, while I saw it in the muscle below without any cable and similar "flowers".

I have a question 👋🏻 the brachioradialis a flexor or extensor muscle ???? I am really searched on internet about it and I had found it a flexor muscle
@MemorizeMedical
Жыл бұрын
It is an elbow flexor (and supinator and pronator depending on the forearm position) but is typically considered part of the posterior/extensor compartment because of its origin. So it's an elbow flexor living in the wrist extensor part of town. Hope that helps.
@MMAA-ri7or
Жыл бұрын
@@MemorizeMedical good I had asked my Anatomy Doctor in my university and he said "brachioradialis is not extensor muscle, it's a flexor muscle because flexion is its function (flexes the elbow ) but his origin in the posterior compartment of the forearm but he didn't considered it from the extensor muscles .
@MemorizeMedical
Жыл бұрын
@@MMAA-ri7or The posterior compartment is just sometimes referred to as the extensor compartment despite the brachioradialis being a flexor. You may see this used in textbooks and research articles but the two names are interchangeable. For brachioradialis, just focus on remembering the origin and insertion and think about what would happen if those two points got closer together. For brachioradialis it would mainly be elbow flexion. Here's a source if want to learn more: "The posterior compartment of the forearm is also known as the extensor compartment since the muscles primarily function to extend the wrist and digits of the hand." www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK539784/ Hope that helps 👍
