Big Ange is very professional, he never points a finger at match officials but deals with things he can control. A perfect manager, never shifts blame onto match officials like many "Others"

Yeah, f.e. Dyche was yapping and complaining all game to the 4th official. Ange feels like a breath of fresh air compared to most other managers.

Came from America to watch the game against Everton. Had a wonderful time at the stadium for the first time and got to see our boys get the win! COYS and merry Christmas Ali!

Kudos to Emerson Royal - obviously, he's not been first choice this season, but in every clip you see of the Spurs players, he's always there with the biggest smile on his face, always supportive, always happy. What a great team man! (Quite a good player, too).

Alasdair’s reporting on Spurs is Gold. I can’t imagine not having this connection to the club we get through him. It is on the button, every single time. Him being my favourite thing to fall asleep to cracks me up. Like a soothed baby. Reassured his love currently is in the best of hands

It’s nice and he seems nice - but for balance sake I think there is a tinge of sad tragic which I think should at least be mentioned. It’s nice from a content perspective but the sigh at the start is just a little annoying.

Vicario is the goalkeeper you need if you want to win trophies. He is brilliant!

Really happy about Chris Davies staying. Says a lot about what is going on at Spurs. Sound like everyone really loves and respects him. Yay!

Was at the game and saw Vic shouting at Deki after the Gomez goal for not closing him down fast enough. Interesting in Vic’s growing leadership role.

At the game yesterday with my brother. Vicario was indeed brilliant not just with the saves but also his ball distribution. He gives out an aura of supreme confidence and you can see our entire defence connect to him. . We have injuries and suspensions, but we look like a team with a purpose and that is down to Ange P and our players belief in his ideas. Happy Christmas to all and thanks always AG for your reports. Brighton next and that should be a great game to watch.

For me a massive transfer window not for the obvious injury reasons but for the big man to be backed properly and to be allowed to push this team on with a better squad at his disposal. Merry Xmas and COYS

Happy Christmas Alasdair! I have been a Spurs supporter for 55 years and I was at the second leg of the UEFA Cup Final when we beat Wolves in 1972. I have been a season ticket holder for the past six years, but have only just started to watch your videos this season. You give a wonderful insight into what is happening at the club and I love the fact it is totally unscripted which makes it so natural. We finished the game with one of our first choice back four and none of our first choice midfield. Added to that, Son ran out of steam, Johnson too, he could barely move by the end, though that could also have been down to a heavy tackle he took. It’s no wonder we were up against it. Everton are no mugs, we’ve lost to worse teams this season. Reinforcements are a must next month.

To win the PL you need luck and to win ugly sometime, we are 4th using our B team and when we bring subs on our C team. If we had no injuries we would be top by a few points. We were not lucky the goal keeper is there for a reason to make saves and stop teams scoring.

As a Xmas present to my son we are coming back to London from Sweden in January and doing the stadium tour and skywalk and he is absolutely thrilled. In five months Big Ange has transformed the way I feel about my son supporting our club from a despairing "am I just setting him up to suffer?" to a sense that there will be thrilling, rollercoaster adventures ahead. And that's what I want for him and for myself; daring, front-foot football from a great team led by an inspiring manager. Long may this continue... Happy Xmas, God Jul, Audere est Facere!

Emerson was my outfield player of the Match. He can look awkward and gawky but he is more than effective at what he does. Versatile too (end ball accepted but that’s not his forté)

I have to agree. I felt the same way when Ange had the Hoops. The ball boy worked like a 12th man. Ange had the ball boy using speed to get the ball onto the pitch while the opposition had backs to goal. A nice little tactic that i think should be re-employed. It caught so many teams out.

I agree that it has been a fantastic start for Vicario and I really hope that he can become a Tottenham legend in the next few years. Personally, I like Skipp as a player but then again, I also liked Winks when he was at Spurs. It would be nice if Skippy does get a run in the team when others are absent to see if he can really show that he has the mettle to be a future club captain.

Loved everything you said about Skipp... He's not a flash player, he's no Bentancur or Bissouma, and because he can make a few little mistakes it turns some people on him so quickly. He seems to be held up to some insane standard for a young squad player from our academy. I think if he was playing for a team like Luton or Crystal Palace getting the time to develop over a run of games, he would elevate his profile to some Spurs fans in my opinion. Similar thing happened to Kyle Walker-Peters, will no doubt happen to Winks, Marcus Edwards, and you can go on... He was clearly a bit rusty, so I can't say he doesn't deserve some level of criticism, but he still kept the ball +90% of the time, was involved in a lot of good passing moves and did some great defensive actions vs Everton. He's got the football brain to be a good Premier League level player, he just needs time to develop himself and I think even if he's a 2nd or 3rd choice CM squad player for us in the long run, I want a proper Spurs lad playing for Spurs.
