Why do slow games load so long even if we have modern PCs? I get that old systems like the ps2 have to load that long but on modern PCs? I don't get it.

Probably because they only run off one single core, and haven't been updated to run off multiple

It runs just fine on my PC, but then again I have an SSD. Really worthwhile investment.
