Dr Campbell I have had ME/CFS since 1993 after multiple bouts of bronchitis followed by a terrible influenza. I lead a full life with a working and sporting career that was shot to bits. After 18 mths of acute symptoms that only those who have have had it would recognize it settled down into a chronic condition that leaves me to this day absolutely exhausted after only 4-5 hours on my feet. I honestly don't know how I have made it to this day. The gaslighting and cruelty from 95% of medical staff, Doctors and specialists was severe and reminds me of what disabled people with "Long Covid" are going through today. It took me over 11 years to get an official diagnosis. There may be many ways into this sort of Post Viral condition but it is extremely real and should not be dismissed.

Look for research into using pregnenolone to treat ME/CFS. Our body's normally make pregnenolone and vitamin D from cholesterol. And they are the cornerstones of our antiviral defenses. (NOT prednisone which is a dangerous drug invented in the 1950's.)

I’m a RN and my textbooks say that a condition that lasts over six months is a “chronic condition.” This doesn’t sound like post viral syndrome to me. More investigation is needed and the mRNA injections must be considered a possible cause until rules out SCIENTIFICALLY

@@mier37 Yes, it is called the CA125 (cancer antigen) blood test. Normal test results are 35 and below. There's other conditions that may raise this number at times, but this is the best way to catch it early.

When during first lockdown I was attending a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome clinic via zoom, and the lady in charge said Long Covid is another post viral syndrome with exactly the same symptoms as CFS and they were advising government how to respond to the Long Covid. I find it frustrating that they are not called CFS, and treating it as seperate. My experience with CFS is that people with this condition have auto immune disease. I remember on the news I think in 2021/22 a professor at a London university studying Long Covid said there was a link to auto immune disease.

All I know is what I see going around me and more and more people I grew up with have cancer or are in hospital with a MYSTERY illness that doctors can't or won't identify. Something is definitely going on and it's making people sick

I did not get the sh*t, but I had Covid. The neuro symptoms and fatigue have held on. My senses of smell and taste are altered. I lost the sense of smell for months. It has mostly returned, but is altered. Scents that used to be pleasant or make me feel hungry, are in many cases the opposite, and are distasteful. Also, periodically, I feel the symptoms of the virus for days at a time. I am, fortunately, retired, and have the opportunity to maneuver through it. I will never forgive or forget those who manufactured the global nightmare.

As an emminent virologist in the US has said when analysing this paper, he acknowledged that the medical professional have minimised ALL post viral infections because they don't know what to do with it or how to treat it and can symptoms can last up to 18months. I think we have to consider that government policy is kicking in here with this report. There are thousands suffering long covid in UK and are "missing" from the workplace. The gazlighting and minimising of those people has just begun and being off work on sick pay will soon disappear. Watch this space!

They do know how to treat it. I have had post viral syndrome a half dozen or so times since the late 80s. Treated with asthma meds on and off as it has always left me with asthma symptoms. Long term I now have early COPD that will be treated as COPD is eventually.

Asthma/breathing issues are only one of the many issues, and asthma meds can't help if other issues preclude their use. Besides, many post-viral sufferers continue to have issues long-term. Just because you may be one of the luckier ones doesn't make it morally right to dis those that are still struggling and suffering without help or solutions from whatever medical system they may be stuck with. @@thecynicalaussie

My friend got glandular fever when she was 20. Caused severe liver problem and hospitalisation in USA. She seemed to recover but her health got worse over the years with recurring laryngitis and many allergies and painful symptoms. She battled her illnesses, but finally at age 35, she ended up in a wheelchair diagnosed with CFS, ME, Fibromyalgia. She's tried every cure possible. That was 24 years ago. This has ruined her life and the number of times she has been told her severe symptoms are hysteria is unbelievable. Hopefully cures for post Covid symptoms will finally give some relief ro people like my friend.

Under 18 cycles pcr won't find anything it's not sensitive enough , between 20 ,- 25 cycles it will find whatever you want but once over 25 starts to become false positive and over 30 cycles is almost 100% (97%) False Positive ..... Dr Kary Mullis , who died conveniently in August 2019.

I went to the doctor with my son who is unjabbed and went for an unrelated reason, and he was subjected to verbal abuse from the doctor and also from a nurse. My son by the way, nursed me through three bouts of covid, unvaccinated, and he never contracted it.

I will stick to the trusted and proven health history of Ivermectin vitamins and healthy living before I trust the new stuff. As for vaccine side effects I know personally many people who have had health troubles after they got the jab. There were cases of "long covid" before the jab came out. I suspected then it was post viral syndrome. But everyone who had post viral syndrome were strongly urged to get the jab because they were told the jab would help them get over the virus. One ‘flush’ with one of those nasal flush things with nasaline (common salt solution would work just as well, but that brand’s flusher is awesome! 👉🏻 Amazon) cleared that up for me. The crap that came out of my head was ridiculous. I’ve had issues for years too before that.

So much is down to malnutrition in modern diets as well. I believe diet was better in the 60s/70s/80s in the genral population. Now most people are eatimg packet foods and the elderly rely on food being 'made' for them which has an onus on 'food safety' rather than balanced nutritionally. I also believe the food inspection system is not fit for purpose. Why give 5 stars to a food seller when most bought foods are causing obesity and malnutrition?

I've been living with some kind of post-viral thing for decades. It's degenerative and affects my whole body. It's been severe. It's been a struggle to survive. The worst is the fatigue and severe pain in my joints and muscles. I'm pretty much bed ridden. At times have to lean on the walls to get down the hallway because of the pain in my joints and muscles. It affects everything as food tastes weird ever since, and it even changed my hair after it started decades ago. I should be in a nursing home as I can't take care of myself. I tell doctors my condition isn't a survivable situation, but they don't care. And too, I broke my back years ago with bulging discs and went nearly completely paralyzed for a while and almost starved to death in parking lots as I went from doctor to doctor form ER to ER and no one did anything as I also lost the ability to chew and I told everyone I think a disc in my spine has herniated as I can hear squirting sounds and I'm having massive pain in my spine where my paralysis starts as it felt like a knife in my back. The doctors just laughed at me like my life has no value.

Most folks today live in cities or major suburban areas and don't really "listen" to their body and do what it says. We ALL need to have far less trust in any of these organizations/people in the future. I have an older undetected issue, and I have been treating it. Sometimes that medicine is a bit rough and I have a bit of a cough, but am fine.

I live in Qld and the majority of people do not go out in the sun without being covered either in sun cream or long sleeves and always a wide brimmed hat, especially school children as this is the standard uniform. More than 20mins in the sun without protection (summer or winter) your skin will start to burn. Qld has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world. This being said! Most of us oldies avoid being out in the middle of the day or even avoid the sun by keeping in the shade. At 78yrs old I take daily VitD3 and K2 because I can't walk or sit in the sun for even short periods of time, the amount of elderly Queenslander's with Vit D deficiency would be high in my opinion. I had two Astrazenica jabs and one Moderna booster then stopped having them around the same time as you did Dr. C. Many of my friends the same age as me and older have had about Seven boosters as the system dictates they must, and even now insist that covid boosters and other jabs for us older people are essential. I refuse to have these any more, I have lost so many relatives and friends with heart and other sudden deaths this last 2yrs or so it's frightening, some were so young too. No one will talk about it, Doctors, Politicians or Pharmasists etc. It's the silent curse in my opinion. Thank you for keeping us updated. 🇦🇺

So sorry. Have you tried the remedies to get rid of the spike protein. John Campbell and others have videos in them. I believe it can be reversed if the inflammation is reduced

That is what I was told by two doctors whom I consulted because of Post-covid syndrome. But I wonder: I got Covid early in Feb 2020, and from April 2020 suffered heavily from a range of symptoms (insomnia, depression, head and joint aches, complete exhaustion without any exercise etc.) which I never had before, never experienced after any viral infection, and I was 62 years old at that time. I am quite recovered now, but still from time to time smell cigarette smoke where there is none and am not sure whether occasional heart palpitations which I also never suffered from before Covid are purely "mental" or if they are the result of the Corona virus.

Hi John. I totally agree with you. I have had CFS/ ME for 6 years. Triggerred by a flu virus. I also had zero vit D in my body ? 25 years ago flu triggerred disabilitating severe allergic asthma.( i have a genetic predisposition for Asthma) I had zero help with my severe cfs/ Me. Which is classed as a nurological condition. I had symptoms in every part of my body and brain. Nothing worked.Bed bound. Slept for a year. There is no cure for cfs/ ME or post viral fatigue. So i researched. And helped myself with a cfs coach to recover about 80%. When i heard the twrm" Long Covid" I thought its exactly the same symptoms as cfs/ ME. Maybe much milder in fact? I could not understand why the medical fraternity insisted on calling it " Long Covid" rather than post viral fatigue or syndrome??? Made no sense to anyone who has cfs/ ME. Which is nearly always triggerred by a virus. Often Epstien Barr virus? Flu? Being asthmatic and the Government putting the fear of god into us. I had the fist 2 vaccinations. Astra zeneca. No side effects at all. Felt fine in fact. Then came the third booster. This time Moderna. Which put me in bed for 3 weeks? And my ar. Still hurts where the vaccine went in. I decided i was not having any more vaccines. Especially the spike protien one. I did not like the sound of it. I decided to let my own immune system fight covid. I got Covid a year ago. I had a lot of cardio symptoms after. But my asthma lungs were fine ??? But something very strange happened to me.!! I just could not recover. And had a lot of wierd symptoms. Lasting 9 months. Nausea. Abdo pain.vommitting. severe exhaustion. Suicidal depression? Which i could not understand. As i had never had These symptoms before. After many trips to the GP. I finally had a diagnosis. Addisons Disease. Triggerred it seems by covid? I had a look online and there have been other cases of Adrenal insufficiancy happening to people after covid???? Really we need a huge data base of all unusual side effects? I have taken vit D3 for 6 years. And vt c B12.zinc. so i was not defecient.? Yet prior to covid i was fine. After I had Adrenals that stopped functioning. I am now on hydrocortisone for life? Seems more than a coincidence?

I was a physio in the NHS for over 40 years, and I was involved in treating and rehabilitating post viral syndrome for the best part of 10 years. I was saying this WAY back in 2021, that "long covid" was simple post viral syndrome, and was not a significant separate entity. I was widely rubbished at the time for my views (by those with ZERO medical knowledge, BTW). Odd how the "conspiracy theorists" are proved right more often than not.

Agree with you with it being a post viral syndrome. It was covid that caused it for me - and millions of others. The trouble is our governments are now starting to bury the fact it does exist and has been caused by the covid-19 infection, the term 'Long Covid must make them feel very nervous, especially as there are now lawsuits being made; hence the reason its starting to be decried by them. We dont want to be pushed down the waiting lists into oblivion along with other sydromes they dont want to understand; ME CFS, PTSD, FibroM, and most mental health affictions. They literally dont care about any of that. We want them, and us to be listened to. I want a proper job again, like I was in 4 years ago in a busy surgical pre assessment unit which I loved; I cycled to and from there and did 11 hour shifts. I simply cannot do that anymore, I would be fired within a week. No day guarantees me the ability to function properly, or stay awake long enough to function. Unless they can find jobs where we can attend when we feel ok enough to and not go in when we dont, most are unemployable now. Its soul destroying 😔

I thought it's been proven that PCR is sketchy at best for diagnosing Covid. Even the inventor of it said it wasn't for that, if I'm not mistaken.

Great piece of work John. I’m 100% sure the symptoms I suffered post Pfizer jab 2 are still very much present even now caused by ongoing response to spike protein. My GP seems more open to testing for the post vaccine syndromes 🙏🏻

We knew back in the 70s that you took a minimum of 6 weeks to recover from flu. And I was young then. Now at 70, it takes me less long. But then, I have avoided the elephant

If this is news then you haven't been paying attention. Post viral syndrome has been around forever and the symptoms and advice has been on the NHS website for years.
