I find the post Malone conversation so funny. I had no idea he “dabbled” in country, but the rock world is also waiting for him to switch sides. Everyone wants to claim him as their own. 😂

Post Malone is just the guy in the song “Gone Country” that is a pop/R&B writer, that starts to make country music.

He started in the pop/R&B realm because that's where the money was but his actual background is in heavy music (aka hard rock, metal, and punk) and country (as seen in all of the videos featuring him singing his own favorites on his tourbus).

The thing that probably helps is Post isn't living in LA, he's living here in Utah. There is a big love for country out here and being surrounded by it probably has an effect. Post isn't cosplaying being country because to my understanding he lives out in the country surrounded by the culture.

Post Malone does not get the proper credit he really deserves/has earned. His solo stuff, especially the radio hits, are honestly not even close to being indicative of his talent. People who haven't heard him do tons of covers, or make their mind up about him based on stereotype and his solo stuff, are truly missing out. His voice is so different, his tone. He has that natural verbratto (idk how to spell that lol) that mimicks auto tune almost indistinguishable.. until you see a live acoustic cover and realize wow that's... not artificial! . He doesn't get enough recognition, but if we look at all of the covers hes done and features, its undeniable; one of the most diverse artists of this generation. My favorite cover is his cover of a cover of Last Kiss.. thats when it really hit me that his voice and emotional output, isn't just some other random rapper. Hes a man of all trades and been proving it this whole time, we as a collective just have never noticed

I'm more surprised Titanic Sinclair went country than Post Malone. His early work with Mars Argo were so grungy socialist that I really didn't see this coming. He's a hell of a producer but both Mars and Poppy have stories that make me feel bad for enjoying his art. But as I like to say, Cosby admitting to his crimes didn't take away from how funny he was and probably still is. Check out Using You For Pleasure by Mars and Lowlife by Poppy.

Said this on the last video, but figured I would post it here too. Definitely not telling you how to do your job here, just had some suggestions regarding the consistency. Maybe alternate uploads? So every two weeks you can have one video that’s more creative “Does Riley Green have anything to say?” Type videos and then the next two weeks dedicate to making a standard “Album Roundup.” Video. Also maybe place a limit on how many albums you’ll allow into one roundup, so that way you can have extras if it starts slowing down. Give yourself tight deadlines, that always helps me when I need to get an assignment turned around. Lastly, I suggest some tutorials from masterclass or just browse on KZread to see if there’s something for managing your projects. Great video man, still love seeing your content after all these years.
