Post Human: Dark Ambient Sci Fi Music (For Relaxation And Focus)

Today's video is a simple one with good old dark sci fi music. It’s based on a concept that I’ve seen a number of times in sci fi stories. A person alters themselves with the power of technology past the point of humanity, never to return to who they once were. The lure of futuristic capabilities draws them in, addiction takes over, and their humanity begins to slip away. I guess the only message here would be to not allow oneself to get addicted to technology, and alas, here I sit writing a KZread description on my iPhone. Let’s just say I love science fiction, intriguing stories and deep character development.

Just catching up on my subscriptions, and wow this is a really standout piece! I wish I heard this earlier today while I was at work! Love the pulsating bass that comes in and out with those airy vocals and high pad over the top. Those subtle plucks too! Superbly done. I'll most definitely be listening to this one again.

Is this your work? If so, it's beautiful. I've never been able to write ambient. I guess the way my brain works is too fixed in theme and melody and movement. The stillness of ambient has always eluded me.

Thank you! Yes all my music is original :) I know exactly what you mean, they are definitely two different ways of thinking. I naturally think of music in textures, layers, simple thematic melodies and rhythms. It takes me a lot longer to write let’s say Star Wars type music, so I’ve had to learn to get better at those styles of writing!

The only time I feel human is when I drink alcohol..it allows me to listen to sad music..consume bad food..lust after worldly things and feel sick of it all the next day..and do it all over again...I don't want to be human any more

Ah, who cares about my advice! Stop drinking and as an experiment for yourself, go a long time without alcohol and see if you notice the same thing! It's actualy better and yet within another way!❤ ❤❤
