Welcome to Futurescapes, a cosmic oasis of deep relaxation, wondrous escape and serene inspiration.
My name is Brett Janzen. I'm a music composer for Interleave Creative, working on AAA science fiction, action and adventure games. I've always been entranced by science fiction and ideas of travelling to strange places, traversing alien terrain and carving a path towards the unknown. As I work and create, I find my best inspiration when immersing myself in my favourite environments, as though I'm living them. Whether gazing out a rainy window at a cyberpunk city, resting in a futuristic Japanese garden, or floating through the reaches of deep space, through this channel we can journey together to find bliss among these incredible worlds. Hands down your art is the best here. I love your work. I would assume that people live and work there. There is a town down in the valley there so what they are doing here is very classified. Working with aliens maybe?

I think a bit less radio in the background and it would be perfect. The ambient sounds of the wastelands are best here. But good work overall!

I cannot for the life of me figure out how the rocks, particular the cliff face on the right side, was rendered. The shading makes me think it's gotta be 3d, but also that would take forever to make in blender. It'd probably better to just photoscan a rock and borrow the geometry. I don't think it's AI because too much of the rocket ship makes sense, but I suppose the rockface could've been generated then photoshopped to the rest of it
Glad you like it! The main image was generated with Midjourney and the visual FX were made originally with After Effects. Lithograph made these amazing visuals so he could give you a more in depth answer about it! AI art can be awesome and accurate when we spend time learning how to manipulate it to get exactly what we want :)

I like sci fi ambiences bc they arent full of sharp sounds. When I need ambiences, loud or bold noises are not going to make me feel calm. Bird chirps, crickets, loud water, all of these when over exagerated for an ambience hurt my brain. I like these ones because they are smooth and blended noises. Makes me feel less stressed.

It felt like I had been driving forever, just trying to get home from the bar in this pea-soup fog. The colors of everything were subdued. Only the cheery yellow of the hood of my new car offset the muted tones I viewed as I drove. It must be approaching dawn. The fog was a blue-green, twilight color. Only the cones of light from the streetlamps made the fog any lighter. It felt like my head was starting to clear a bit from the haze caused by too many beers and too much smoke. As I rounded the corner, I knew I would be home soon and I could crawl into bed. Oh great! Down the street , I saw a car plowed into a tree. The collision had twisted the car so it was halfway out in the street. Its taillights were still shining. A police car was parked by the side of the road. The officer was shining his flashlight on the driver. Slowing down, I tried to work my way around the accident, trying not to rubber-neck. Funny, the car was also yellow and looked all too familiar. It's a picture of me in 75 years. Not a spec of rust on me. Just out for a walk while I wait for some new upgrades. As they even now have real skin with nerves, it looks like I am still in an old model, contemplating keeping up with all my friends... Peer pressure in the twenty second century... I was always a more traditional kind of guy.
