Post Fire - Gorman CA

Location: Near Pyramid Lake
The most recent acreage update today stated that the fire is at 12,264 acres. The fire is making a push towards Pyramid Lake. Yesterday firefighters had to shelter in place after the road was cut off by fire. Multiple vehicles have been destroyed, as well as a couple structures. At this time, the five freeway is open in both directions. The San Fernando Valley and Agoura have been affected after ash rained down covering vehicles and streets. #Wildfire #interstate5 #postfire #gorman

This really sucks. I'm from LA and I have been on the 5 many, many times and also on the Grapevine. I have also gone camping at Pyramid Lake back in the 70's. When I see all these fires it just breaks my heart. I pray that God keeps everyone safe.

Home owners insurance companies are canceling policies because they know this years fire risk is extremely high. Wet & rainy winter made shrubs & grass grow like crazy, CA was very green and now it’s very dry and combustible
