Great table talk. Agree on the choke thing. Been using my factory choke for years. Thanks again Titus. 👍🏼🦆

I agree with your dialogue in regard to finding the correct shot for your choke; keep a constant (your choke) and test one variable independently (your shotshells) at a time. Like shooting rifles, you may have the same model in the same caliber as a buddy, but what shoots well through his gun, may not be what will shoot well through yours. Finding the correct bullet weight and manufacturer may be a royal pain, but chances are one or a few will prove to be best suited for your firearm.

Thanks for video, always enjoy your input. I like federal speed-shok blue box out of my Mossberg 835 , but always enjoy testing different shells. The Remington nitro steel shot good out of my A300 outlander.

I hunted for years with Remingtons. More often than not an aftermarket choke will help. On the other hand all of the chokes that came with my Benelli work well. I love Patternmaster chokes. They were great in my 870's. At some point I will buy one for my M2. Right now I have a lot of needs that come before that want.

I’ve found that paintball barrel cleaners fit perfect in a 12 gauge and it cleans the barrel perfect but it has to be the longer exalt one with the fluffy end

I thought after market chokes were just another gimmick until I tried jebs chokes. Those things are the real deal, the Turkey choke and duck chokes throw very impressive patterns

Nice review and great channel. You put a lot of money up in shells to make something useful for the common everyday hunter! Thanks dude

With the black cloud you're supposed to usr a special choke because its a different wad that opens backwards. But I agree with you that your normal factory choke is just fine and find a good shell that works with your gun. Black cloud 3" #3 patterned like garbage out of my mossy 500 with factory mod choke. I love the work you put into all your pattern testing videos and it motivated me to do my own testing!

Agreed, I cringe anytime Dick's is the only local store that has a product.

Loved the review. I shoot a Mossberg 935 and it shoots the 3 inch Remington Hi Speed Steel #2 the best in both Modified and Full stock choke tubes. I also tried the Carlson's Black Cloud .727 Extended range choke tube. It patterned fairly well but the Mossberg full choke .730 stock choke shot better patterns at 40 yards. I just purchased a Carlson's Mid Range .743 and will be testing that with various 3 inch shells in the near future. I found with the the same problem Titus did which was finding a dealer that had a good supply of the Remington Hi Speed Steel. My local Sportsman's Warehouse ran out just after the season opened and didn't resupply until MARCH !!!!

I’ve found the federal blue box also shoots the best from my gun and my son’s gun. The word must be out because all the shelves around me here in WI are bare of those but you can find others types.

I notice when looking at 3" Drylock, they offer different oz. loads with varying velocities. My question is when looking at #3 shot you have two choices, one being 1 3/8 oz. @ 1300fps and the other being 1 1/4 oz. @ 1450fps. What load combination makes a better or more effective combination. Thanks

Agree it’s all about trial and error and seeing what does best I’ve only ran stock chokes in my Steoger LongFowler double barrel and it really likes Kent Fast Steel 2.0 and Federal Black Cloud and for me it has killed birds dead before hitting the ground. Great video btw!!!

I barely miss with Remington hypersonic, but they tend to jam in my gun.

I've had really good luck with the Super X and the Kent Fast steel 3" BB for geese and I do use an aftermarket choke. I do clean my guns alot during season just because I've always done that. Different opinions aren't a problem for me.
