I like those new shells. I've found in my tests with chokes that tight anything that's faster then 1450fps. The patterns are just blown out. Like your first 2 Kent's where at 1560fps. My go to Kent 2.0 is the 1300fps 1. 3/8 # 3.

Thanks for spreading the message of “pattern your dang shotgun” I absolutely hate when I come across someones cripple. I built a patterning stand that uses 30” wide rolls of paper and posted it to my channel. Go build you one, it’ll save tons of time, the rolls are cheap, and the pattern papers can be stored in very little space so you’ll be apt to hold onto them so you can compare to others later.

Is the SBE3 shooting high because of the raised rib? I don't look down the barrel when shooting birds so if it's the rib, shouldn't be an issue when bird hunting. But it's what's kept me away from the gun. I love the Optifade camo versions.

Iv been using the 12 3 1/2" #3 at 1550 Kent 2.0 ammo and it's amazing used it on everything from teal to geese and keep shots under 45 yards it just folds everything. I prefer to keep geese under 35 with it but it still works and have killed mallards as far as 47.

What I've noticed at least in the mobil choke system for our group same with my friends sbe3 he shoots most 1450 fps loads pattern so much better.

I would shim that Benelli if it's shooting that high. Good grief! I always liked Kent stuff... That being said, I'll load you some goose hammers my guy...

DO NOT LOAD YOUR GUN IN THE TRUCK My NEW Browning Auto fired a cartridge when I loaded it with a game load: It was pointing in a safe direction. Accidents only happen if you allow them to happen!

That 1 1/8 ounce load is too fast and is blowing out your pattern. Switch to the 1 3/8 slower load and you’ll have a much tighter pattern.
