Possible WARNING SIGNS You’re Not Healthy & How To Help! | Dr. Steven Gundry

Ойын-сауық

You’re eating well and you’re exercising regularly but you just CAN'T seem to lose weight.
Sound familiar?
Well, I'm here to tell you it’s not all in your head.
And more importantly - it’s NOT your fault.
Because the truth is, over 88% of overweight individuals and more surprisingly, 50% of thin people in the U.S. are what we call “metabolically INflexible”.
This means there is actually something stopping the body from burning fat - and even worse, it could be contributing to serious illness.
But it doesn't have to be this way - and in this episode, I explain why.
With the information in this episode, you’ll have the know-how when it comes to optimizing your metabolism, burning stubborn fat, and dramatically improving your health.
On this episode you’ll learn:
* How mitochondria works in the body - and what it has to do with your health and weight.
* Why we SHOULD all function as “hybrid cars” (but why so many of us don’t).
* What a fasting insulin levels really means - and the score YOU should be aiming for.
* Why some people actually gain weight on a ketogenic diet (even if they're doing everything right).
* The BEST blood test for understanding your health (anyone can get it for around $8).
* Why two twins can eat the EXACT same diet, yet have very different outcomes on their weight (and what it could mean for you).
* The first step to correcting metabolic inflexibility and transforming your health.
* 2 warning signs that your are metabolically inflexible - and 2 simple changes you should make today.
* My #1 trick for getting the body to produce more ketones (especially if you are metabolically inflexible).
* Why so many of our brains are “starving to death” overnight - and what you can do about it.

I've been struggling to understand insulin, and now at last I do. Thank you! I'm skinny, but I'm also definitely the person who cannot go without food for long periods of time. I break my fast just after 9 Mon to Fri. I'm going to extend that to 9:30. I think moving forward in half-hour increments is very feasible. Also I thought that MCT powder was a gimmick until watching this podcast. I'm going to get some now. Thank you again for making a difference in so many people's lives.

It is, BY FAR, the most important video you've created, because, if followed, a listener could DRAMATICALLY transform their health with little cost or effort. This material was also easy to understand and simple to implement. It will now be my "go to" podcast/video to send anyone who is wondering why they can't lose weight (and to explain why I'm a "Gundry guru devotee" ;) (And, oh, by the way, my life DOES depend on this information!)

Also I wanted to tell you that all of the supplements I am taking right now I have made me feel 1000 times better. The one thing that is happened since I started taking your supplements is, I do not need a Nexium type medication for indigestion. Because I don’t have indigestion anymore. I have dealt with indigestion since I was 17 I’m now 58 ever since I started taking your supplements my indigestion went away . If this was the only thing your supplements did, I will thank you every day for the rest of my life the things that you have come up with that fix what other doctors are doing wrong is priceless. Thank you for everything you do, Kathy

“Why some people actually gain weight on a ketogenic diet.” That would be me! “One of the best ways to gain weight is to eat fruit.” Uh oh. “Ideal time to do all your eating is between 6-8 hrs. Fast for the rest.” Wish I could.. I’m never hungry in the morning and could easily go 15 hrs w/o being hungry.. but, I have to take BP med with food every 12 hrs. “that is the ‘Catch 22’” LOL.. I was thinking that before you said it! It’s the story of my life. “MCT’s convert into Ketones and can give you energy until you eat again.” Wonderful! I will try the MCT powder and maybe some goat cheese! Dr. Gundry.. Thank you very much.. I learned a lot from this video! I will order your book ‘Unlocking the Keto Code’ today! Thanks again!

I cut my insulin levels down to a third of what they were, and I wsdnt even using that much of a lot to begin with. If he can stick with it, and work through the bumps in the road of low blood sugars that can happen as you adjust to lower insulin needs , he will be soooo thankful. What does a type 1 diabetic do to reduce the insulin level? I find that if I go low in blood glucose and I am forced to eat sugar to not stay too low, and I get lows often, and I try not to over eat sugar or carb so I don't go too high, or get on a roller coaster ride of high and lows.

My hobby is You Tube. Mostly podcasts like this one. If I was to distill what I have learned it would come down to this: Eating clean is just one of 5 pillars of health. To eat clean is simply summed up like this - if man made it, or heavily processed it, don’t eat it. Seed oils in any amount are bad. Processed carbohydrates are bad. Sulfur contains foods are good. Cholesterol is good. Leafy green vegetables are good. Lemon water is good. Cooked mushrooms are good. Eggs are good. Breads with basic ingredients in moderation are not bad. Matcha and coffee in moderation are good. 💯 grass feed dairy and beef is good. Eat fruit in moderation. I think you get the idea. Be a conciseness eater. Just because it taste good doesn’t mean it must be good for you. Excessive amounts of sugar are very hard on your mitochondria. Healthy mitochondria are the cornerstone to overall good health. Think about supplements like D3, C, K2. Zinc, Magnesium and Quercetin. What is good for your heart is good for your brain. A balance between Omega 3 and Omega 6 is good. Always go for wild fish - never farmed fish.

Hate drs who talk down to ppl. He does not base his conclusions on science, but merely his own personal weight loss. WFPB is by far the best way of eating, not keto - period!
