Positive French: Everyday vocabulary to show appreciation in French

Want to enthusiastically show appreciation for something (or someone) in French? Learn some of the most common positive French words to use in your everyday conversations.
If you want to become more fluent in spoken French, you're probably searching for words and phrases that allow you to better express yourself (and your opinions - positive and negative) in French.
You likely already know the basics - like "J'aime ça" or even "super". But if you're ready to learn new ways to articulate your enthusiasm, we have a ton more options to choose from!
In this lesson, I'll introduce you to some of these 'positive French' words in a spoken French dialogue, then I'll give you a direct translation for each new phrase.

At Comme une Française, we specialize in everyday spoken French. We focus on three unique aspects that are different from school French, self-study books, Duolingo, etc:
1. We focus only on the specifics of speaking/understanding/being understood in everyday French and have unique ways to help you learn it properly & faster.
2. We focus on shortcuts to help you make progress faster, which also means we tell you exactly what you can stop learning to prioritize what’s really important.
3. We use French culture as the subject to make it fun and interesting for adults.
Take care and stay safe.

England was under French kingdom for 300 years. American English is rather a direct migration from Germany. English is a west Germanic language. Thus American English is closer to its origin than Brit English that went heavy influence of French.
