Really nice of you to go back in time and get Abraham Lincoln to pose for use, so inspiring. 😉
Thanks Jeff for sharing your years of experience and knowledge with us. We need your straight no BS approach to doing the hard work that will yield positive results. You have helped me.
Wise words, profound advice, splendid paintings!
not one will buy your DVD!!, with that very good information you provided here, I had learned so much that I will have to expend months painting!! Thanks really very good and I'm just kidding in the first line, I want to buy the DVD. Regards!!

@@Jinkgoo1 no natural talent ? Most artist dont have natural talent .....its just a inheritance luck in gene ....the ones who disliked these r probably ppl who dont like this method or people who didn't feel satisfied or cheated or just bots really
Excellent travail,
BRAVO , VERY NICE !
j'adore votre style
great. you are amazing artist . I hope if I could paint like you. I loved the way you apply pint on canvas, just great
Great!
Excellent video. What would you recommend for us home studio painters that don't have regular access to a live model for practice? The importance of painting from life has always been stressed but it's very much a barrier sometimes.
bravo.
hello Jeffrey,i was delighted ta watch your works, your painting style is very close to my mind and heart.it remembers me to one of the greatest romanian painter named Nicolae Grigorescu, are you his reincarnation ?... never mind, you are very good with respect,Kadar A Tibor
A good color using,
anyone know where to find this easel set up?
Jeffery I like your style but the thing is that you master your pallet that takes years of practice you pick up a mix a one stroke "bam" a don't think is easy
Yapılan karakterler başka biri gibi bakıyor. artistlik var ama, asıl önemli olan o karekterin yansıtılması yok..
What was the metal bar/rod for? I didn't see a grid or a camera at the end of it.

Sarah Jones It's used as a mahl stick. It provides a rest for the right hand for stability.
what materials do you use, like your canvas, oil medium and paint brand?

@3:15 in this very video should answer that question. The materials do not matter! It is whatever is comfortable to you.
Am I the only one who thought it was president lincoln?
how did you get the paint so wet and easy to work with?

i think it's purely because he uses quality oil paint, rembrandt oil paint could do that without any medium
техниката е върховна,но според мен най-чудесна е светлината от цветовете които излъчват портретите...
wtf is Abraham Lincoln doing in your studio?!
Jeff watts makes me feel like a noob
(y)!
You are good but talk too much and fast
j'adore votre style
