Great footage, I’ll have to watch this again on my TV. I see where you were going with the waterfall image, funny thing about composition I learned when I started to paint is that the details, such as the logs piling up at the base of the frame kind of redirect the composition. Ultimately I would paint a combination of the two images from a slightly, and impractical to photograph from angle-and it is that image, that as a photographer, I would fantasize about going back to shoot a higher vantage point. Finally accepting what I cannot change, because either image is beautiful. I love the red leaves… I wonder how much iron oxide red I have on hand.

great quality! Thanks for sharing. Maybe a really stupid question but i have no experience with shooting film. Are those film shots edited afterwards after converting the negative? or is that the result after processing the film only? Keep up the nice vids :)
@DylanSpitz
8 ай бұрын
Hey, thank you! Not a stupid question at all, I had the same confusion when I was first starting out. All the negatives are scanned and dialed in with controls similar to what's found on traditional lab scanners, such as color balance, contrast, brightness, exposure, saturation, etc. as I convert them in the software. Basically, by doing it yourself, you're able to make those decisions rather than a lab technician doing what they feel is best. You can of course then edit them past that however much you'd like after making a .tiff copy in Lightroom if you wish. I find I pretty much never use anything past the negative lab pro controls while converting - it kind of gives me a creative boundary to work within which I enjoy. Hope that makes sense!
