Hadn’t previously heard of Portpatrick but after watching this it’s going on the list of must-plays (for the views alone; the golf would be bonus). Thanks again for another killer video! Always look forward to these.

I won the Daily Record Open there in 1976 on a day very similar wearing my dumbarton tartan trousers, fabulous course of course !!
Loving this series. Courses, scenery, audio, videography, all stunning. However, the thing that's impressed me most is your golf pal! Absolutely mint!

Haha been playing well but wheels fell off recently
Had my second best ever round here a few years ago winning a weekend comp (Stranraer then PP&D) shooting 6 over gross off 14. This is a brilliant course and love going back there.
Wow, just wow. This series is not just a “watch the video, and mash the like button” as so many are these days. This is an atmospheric work of cinematography. Because of this series I have changed my 2022 golf plans from Ireland to Scotland. Whatever monetization you’re receiving is not enough. An absolutely incredible jobs. I need to start watching these with a scotch and cigar to prepare for next years trip!
Andy, love your channel because of your true appreciation for links golf. The views are always amazing and your discussions with the members and the club historians along the way are enjoyable.
Simply stunning! Thanks Andy!
Lovely looking course. Reminds me of our (Australia's) very own New South Wales Golf Club and Long Reef Golf Club in Sydney. Both have similarly spectacular ocean scenery 😀 and both can be equally brutal when a big southerly wind howls off the sea 😬
Another And for the bucket list, goodness, my bucket list is getting really long now with all the lovely courses you've been to. Great series And fabulous.
Played the course a few years ago and the video doesn't mislead. It is every bit as breathtakingly spectacular scenery as depicted. Should mention our enjoyable stay at the Fernhill Hotel in Portpatrick, which is closer to the course than some green to tee walks between holes at many newer courses. AVG should do a contest amongst courses in the UK with the most spectacular scenery. This course would be among contenders though I think Rothesay is my favorite in that category.
I played at Portpatrick two years ago on the way back from Arran as I could not get onto Stranraer. I decided afterwards that I hadn't been short changed. It is a superb course with such a variety of holes and scenery. I am really glad you enjoyed it and have brought it to the golfing public.
If I had a KZread channel, I would strive to emulate the look of your videos. Cannes festival quality videography, I swear. Beautiful :)
I thought you quit posting on your channel. I'm glad I'm back. Thank you for the video.
Loving the series in Scotland Andy.....that scenery and views out over the course are simply outstanding. One course that I need to get and play...... Who is the camera person, quite simply brilliant footage and always seems to be in the best spot for the shot. Love the channel, keep it going 👍
Another uplifting v-log and another course to add to my list, I will definitely consult you ahead of my next road trip to Scotland, this is great stuff 👍

Andy you have just taken me back memory lane mate, What a fantastic Friday to Monday golf trip we had over there many moons ago with the lads. Someone catching Salmon with a Macgregor persimmon driver that's a story for another day, cheers Peter Ps absolutely brilliant video 👍👍👍
Gorgeous film, showcasing another of Scotland's magnificent links courses. The committee must be delighted with the footage Andy. Hats off to your camerawoman too....I hope you treated her to a slap up dinner and a cocktail or two! 👍🍸
Great and informative video. What a beautiful golf course and scenery would love to play it sometime. 👍

Stunning place. And if you like a nice view and backdrop and not sure if you've played it but the old head course in Ireland would be right up your street... great content mate 👏
I really enjoyed watching that video! It looks a really good track. It reminded me of Nefyn, in North Wales 👍
Simply Stunning!
Going to Dumfries and Galloway in two weeks with the wife for a little break unfortunately there will be no golf but I’m happy enough just to take in all that scenery 👍

I grew up playing there, I miss it dearly.
A favourite of mine, stop in Portpatrick on our annual trips and do the surrounding courses
Great video again mate 👍 cheers
I would have to get out early because I would be taking more pictures than I hit golf shots. 😀 Thank you for these golf vlogs.
I have always loved Portpatrick. Even more so now I've seen the golf course.
Played dunskey 2 years ago, beautiful place, very friendly club🏌️♂️.
Another stunner. Life is rough, eh Andy..lol.
