Some video of a trip on the seemingly popular Porto heritage tram network on 12th November 2022. Unlike the Lisbon trams which have been extensively rebuilt with modern trucks and electrical equipment the Porto trams are more or less original. Also unlike Lisbon the Porto trams run on standard gauge rather than 900mm lines. Due to major infrastructure works in the centre of Porto only route 1 - Infante to Passeio Alegre - is operational at this time. Trams seen working were 216, 131, 218 & 220 although 131 did not remain in service due to one motor failing and it is seem returning to the depot from Infante. These trams are operated by SCTP but the local area travel passes are not valid on this service.
