This whole scene was fricking awesome when playing through it the first time. Especially the background music, underscoring the 'oh shit' factor of the scene and then GLaDOS's creepy voice when she says 'I know you'. Uh, and Wheatley's laughter as it turns maniacal... Basically, everything. Everything was awesome.

People havent probably noticed this but the journey that Weatly took, to believe that he is a god is so fantastically subtle its similar to great literature . For example, The start of Weatly believing is when he takes control of most of Aperture before Glados's awakening,he feels very powerful, he is also very bossy as well and when Chell complies he feels in charge and God is incharge of humans which Chell is, and he actually quotes god, and so much more i could write a small essay on it xD

Little fact I found in that moment while playing: there is no animation showing wheatley being transferred and replacing glados, you can see that looking between the metal plates during the transfer, all along its glados and then when it lifts up poof wheatley is on

Actually, there's a chance that Chell is DEAD. At the end of Portal 2, she might have been shot by a turret without you knowing. In Greek culture, they believe you are met by soothing music (the turrets were singing opera). Then, you find a field of wheat (when GLaDOS threw you out). You are then met with a good friend (the companion cube). Yeah, I was sad when I realized this too.
