A quick tour of Port Sunlight Village built in the late nineteenth century by William Lever to provide housing for his workers.
The Village's name is derived from Sunlight soap which was a leading brand of the factory and ground breaking at the time as it was manufactured from vegetable or palm oil while all other brands used animal fat.
