Moved from Port Alfred to the UK in 2011 after 9 wonderful, happy years there! Miss it so much!

Hey Dale! Looks like this video has your highest views. That means a lot of tourists are searching for travel footage of Port Alfred. You should make highlight videos for travelers visiting South Africa. Partner with local businesses: you feature their business in exchange for gift certificates, discounts and cross promotion.

Such a very beautiful scenery, I wish I knew there. But I'm always confused with these right-controlled steering vehicles with their land hand side driving on roads.

The opposite goes same with us when it comes to driving on the left side.
Went there on holiday in the early ninety's and stayed in a house next to where the marina was being built. I have never seen as many and bigger cockroaches as we saw on that holiday

I grew up in Durban. Home of the big cockroach. I detest them. I now live in Canada where we do not have those awful insects.

Exactly what I don't miss at all. No roaches here in Portugal.
Funny to see so much contrast in townships in one country.u have dirty ,waterless, toilet less shacks likensoweto and then u have very linear, well planned houses with brick and mortar in Port Alfred.

You're right. Almost as if you live in a nice suburban neighbourhood and then see downtown Detroit for the first time.

Same happens in Brazil, but SA has a reason for this
This really good place for expropriation, let turn it like Hermanus, built up all the shacks
