The panamera has an engine, gearbox, 4 wheel drive, etc. The taycan can be "thinner" than the Panamera, because it doesnt have any of that, so it does look more sleek. I drove a panamera turbo, and i absolutely loved it, so wide, low, the best build quality of any car and it sounded so cool so industrial😍. Loved it, its a success, and i will never forget that🙂

I recently came across your channel and I enjoy it very much, I have the same Panamera it's the PTS Oak Green the interior is Black and Chalk there are a few differences but I love the car, I have twin girls and a large dog the fact that I can bring everyone along and have that level of performance you can't beat it.

I had a turbo sehyrbid st- it was brilliant - recently sold it and got a new taycan turbos s cross tourismo. very different to drive, the taycan is like a go kart in its handling in comparison, but panorama still very good for such a large car. would have got a new pan (larger battery) 700 bhp, if company car rates weren't so beneficial for buying a new pure electric versus hybrid pan and pan suffered broken rear diff which made me less keen to buy it out of its lease. seats in pan more comfy, but taycan not bad. bigger inside but not much in it. ev experience so far amazing, but if I needed to regularly do over 200 mile round trips id get panemera every day of the week. Drives better than merc amg gt63s and way more fuel efficient. make sure you get innodrive , sports exhaust also brings v8 out more, which gives even more dual personality.

I found that the Panamera seemed more luxury and Bentley like than the Taycan, did you find that?

@@karlhurn not driven the Bentley new continental only old and pan is way better drive than that I thought. But I hear new model conti is vastly improved. The conti is certainly more of a natural cruiser than taycan but taycan does that pretty well, it’s just the Instant torque means you dont cruise as much…. If you drive a certain way! But certainly pan more luxury and not as sharp as taycan. All my family loved it my kids grown up (almost) love the taycan my wife preferred panemera due to comfort.

I love the Sport Tourismo design. I think I’ll wait three or four years til’ it plummets to the sub 80k range🙄

It is a gorgeous wagon. Its a Porsche! What more would u want ?🇮🇪☘️

I’m currently researching the Porsche range (my dream manufacturer) and found myself flitting about the various models. Each seems to have its merits. I originally wanted a Taycan GTS (currently driving an all electric) but I know the range will improve in a few years so ruled that out. More recently I’ve been looking at the 992 GTS but I’m worried that my toddler won’t have enough room in the back. I don’t want an SUV (had one and found the driving position to be too high), so now looking at the Panamera. My main concern is the size of the car, it seems so large, and two big worries would be parking and then B-road driving. Anyone who’s driven one found either of these areas difficult? I used to drive an estate back in the day but it was easily a foot shorter and maybe 1/2 foot narrower…

It is a big car, but it’s fine in most situations, and does the whole ‘shrinking around you’ when you press on. I would think twice about the narrow lanes in Devon and Cornwall though.

I live in middle of country with many broads, and have driven it to Cornwall and French Alps - yes its big but rear wheel steer makes for great turning circle for a 5 metre long car, the suspension is brilliant on broads, parking is easy with cameras but you worry when squeezed in with others - but all 160 k cars come with that worry tbh. id seriously consider taycan if you don't do more than 200 mile round trips and charge at home, preferably with solar power then you get the 6p tariff over night and fill your car up for £6! no its not a 911, but taycan is closer to 911 to drive - also taycan has slightly lower driving postion than panorama.

Totally disagree, I have one , it is the best car I have ever owned. As a kid I had Alfa Romeo 1500Ti, Capri 2800, 4 S class Mercs, a Cayenne, a 2015 Panamera and now Panamera Tourismo. Simply the best.
