I think it was one of those freak accidents. Was such a low speed and so weird. Like 1 in a million perfect angle of contact for it to happen the way it did. Main thing is everyone was ok.

Obviously watched you on Sunday. Bizzare low speed incident which turned, literally, into a big one. Thought you'd explain what happened.. All credit to you Dan. 👏 Thank god no injuries.. As you say a racing incident..

You don't drive with malice, and given the cost of your major off in the BTCC, you more than most appreciate the value of a clean drive. Glad to hear Angus is fine, that's the most important thing. Hopefully they can find the funding and the time to repair his car. Best wished for the season.

Racing is a dangerous sport but today’s cars and the safety equipment have reduced the risk of serious injuries. I understand why you did this video and wish you the best.

Kudos for clearing the air. Lot worse crashes in f1 with similar race incidents. Just glad all involved are safe. As you said not much in it just the turn of events that made it look worse.

Definitely a freak accident, my guess was front wheels on full lock and wide rear wheel contact propelling the car die to the rears being so much wider. But it definitely was a racing incident. Just a spectacular one

not much you can do when another cuts across your nose

The wheels on these 911 cats slightly protrude beyond the bodywork. Looks like Angus' rear wheel rolls over your front bumper and launches him. In Carrera Cup Deutschland i think, there was a similar issue a few weeks ago. Not such a heavy roll on that one though. No malice intended and a pure racing incident only.

Cars touch through there all the time. I’d go as far as saying it’s a given. The wrong part of one car connected with the wrong part of another. That’s all there is to it.

Motorsport is dangerous. These things happen. Definitely a racing incident, these things happen at motorsport events. Main thing is both of you are safe. Shout out to the marshalls n first aiders, couldnt do it wothout em 👏
