Porsche 934/5 gegen Porsche 935 K3. seit der Zulassung der Gruppe 5 Boliden ist die Spitze beim Rennnen "Revival Deutsche Rennsportmeisterschaft" fest in der Hand der Turbo Porsche der späten 70er Jahre.
Auf der Pole ist es Chris Stahl im 934/5 der zunächst gegen einen wie entfesselt fahrenden Klaus Ludwig im 81er Kremer K3 und Armin Zumtobel einem weiteren K3 das Nachsehen hat. Es folgt ein Zweikampf gegen den Porsche 935 K3 von Zumtobel von dem das Video die ersten fünf Runden zeigt.

Who was in the 935 ahead of Stahl for most of the race? was it Zumtobel? He was pretty nasty in a couple of those corners. The 935s appear to have a little more juice - both flat 6 turbo's right? Or is the 934.5 a twin?

Gute Frage. Jedenfalls blockieren deswegen manchmal die Hinterräder.
Can't say for the 934/5, but I do know the 935s were twin turbo'd. From what I've read the Kremmer Porsches were a tad faster than the "standard" 935. The 934/5 is also a few years older than the K3s so that could be why he's not quite as fast as the K3s even though it was fitted with parts to make it eligible for Group 5.

@TheGetawayer in diesem Fall war es eine Canon HF R16, ein ganz normaler Camcorder.
Now I know why he chose the odd line. There was another guy behind him, so Stahl simply closed the door on him so he wouldn't be able to pass on the inside which eventually didn't work out since the yellow Porsche passed him at 8:30.
Why didn't they give you any practice laps for your first time driving this car?

id be willin to bet that the non-doubleclutching downshifts make for some pretty expensive synchro rebuilds...
Well, Stahl did choose an bit of an odd line in a lot of the curves. He might have had a reason for it, though.
