Porsche 917K ist ein wahres Monster auf 4 Rädern. Und diejenigen, die damit Rennen gefahren sind, waren meiner Meinung nach wahre Helden. So wie ich weiß, in der Langheckversion, in LeMans die lange Gerade hinunter, die ja damals ohne Schikanen war, bis zu 400 km/h. Aber das vor 50 Jahren.

Glad to see some things hasn't changed since the first Gran Turismo! The epic sound of that count-down sequence sent me right back to my childhood! Too bad though the engine sound of that Porche was inferior to the real thing. Those who've seen the Top Gear Grand Tour special segment know that this car should have high accentuating notes along with a "whooshy" turbo sound. As if the intake fan was trying to create the biggest tornado ever seen. As for the graphics, it is really top notch! 👌

Craziest car since NFS PORSCHE UNLEASHED.

Cycling the Nordschleife is a bucket list thing of mine. Was not able to get signed up in time this year but 2024 will be done. Got the kit I will wear and camp gear............bonus. And In PS4 I like taking this course in my XJR 9 V12 in Urusei Yatsura livery.

Imagine being a car from the future, and you've been gapped by a 100 year old Porsche.

Loved watching the iconic 1970 Porsche 917 complete with Gulf badging just like the one that Steve McQueen drove in the LeMans race in 1970 in 🇫🇷 You driving the Porsche 917 on the Nuremberg, it's home track was so fitting. Good overtakings, but most of the lines when he was out of the pack of cars, blocking the ideal lines, was actually bad and could carry way more speed, myself driving Porsche RSR on assetto corsa, I can tell that every lines were painful to watch and making him lose time, so no, not "Super smooth racing lines".

One thing I have never really told myself about GT games is that it needs better Graphics, perfect example of game that really did the best it could, great video man :)

The thing is that's not supposed to happen. There are no teams in Gran Turismo. Nobody should be allowing anyone to pass like that. Its a weird bug that has carried over from GT Sport, though it seems less common.

This video is amazing but when I was watching it I kept getting mad at the driver because he would not always push the car. An Example Is at 12:30 he gets rammed from the 2nd place and the 2nd place hits a wall, the player only has straight track in front of him, what he does is lets off the gas for like 5 seconds then hits the gas but doesn't floor it to extend the lead.

It looks like a curtsy every time the little air brakes come out.

As Jacky Stewart called this circuit green hell. Nice track. If you learn this track the rest will be easy. Last time I played was on p3 gt6. Very nice game 🎮, too bad that you can not race against others online anymore on that game. But I still had fun with. When I was moving my steering wheel was stolen from my car, someone took, it just like that as if he had worked hard for it and was his. Anyway, I made my own challenge and tried to match mine times done with steering wheel, on the pad. Eventually I got better and better and have beaten my own time. Yeah if one likes 🏁 racing. This game is awesome 👌 even old ones. Wish there was a way to play online thise old games.

Nordschleife is a track for hotlap, but not for race : track is too dangerous and too narrow to race (extremely dangerous and very difficult to overtake), that is why there is no more F1 race on this track for 50 years...

the car cockpit view had a lock option in that game..

You can adjust the track edge traction i the settings, this game has a wide selection of settinga for physics and assists , almost from arcade to a very solid physics racing game

I ALWAYS do grid start in custom. I hate how it's always single file on rolling start. I've honestly never seen a real-life race that starts single file. It's really annoying, actually. They always go for as much realism as possible, but something as small as fixing the single file rolling start is too much to ask I guess. Or just having it be single file AND full rolling start. Maybe some races do start single file, but I watch A LOT of different series and racing in general and have never seen single file for it to be the main/only rolling start procedure.

It would fix just about ALL of the issues with starting while in a chicane on the tracks that have them close to the Start/Finish line. That's annoying as hell when that happens. You're basically in a turn when the race starts and you have a high risk of spinning out at the very start.

@sean I wholeheartedly agree. That has always irritated the shit out of me. It's unrealistic. Among a lot of other little things like that. And they always strive for realism, but they miss those small yet crucial details.

What? It's a Group C car dude, they were way faster than modern race cars because back in the day, there were almost no limitations in power of any sort. It's a literal monster.

@@johnblaszka3169 this record held for a long time only because the fia banned over-performing car categories from the Nurburgring. a few years ago Porsche crushed this record with the 919 evo, have you ever seen this crazy trick?!! It's legendary and available on YT.

The only downside is the sound of the cars. It is not accurate at all. That's a pity. It seems that there are all the same whatever the version of the game. They should improve that aspect

Top speed of the car is wrong too or something, why didn't yo hit 5th gear? Trying to make this piss-easy game like "harder" on purpose? Lol. This car reaches over 400 km/h and you keep it in 4th gear.

The "difficulty" on this game from that braindead A.I would make me feel asleep in the middle of any race. So much for the "real driving simulator", never seen a gameplay looking more arcadey than this from a "serious" racing game. I'd rather play nothing than having "fun" this way as a 7 y/o kid who thinks beating everything with no challenge or purpose it's how you must play games.
