The rear wheels on the 917 were : Front 10.5” x 15”. Rear 15” x 15”. I thought the rears were 17" wide, but I may be wrong? It's a great looking car, and I was sorely tempted, but there's not too much spare cash about at the moment, so I'll have to make do with watching you guys running them about. And you're right about the noise of a 917. Absolutely glorious!! Along with a Metro 6r4, and an Audi S1 5 cylinder turbo. 😎🤘🏻

Your "silly necklace" is a metal spur gear, they put it on the chain for fun. The metal spur gear itself is well worth it, because it chews through the plastic spurs supplied

Lovely looking car, my AK917 metal roller arrived last week. I am also waiting for the carbon roller to arrive which should be delivered in the next week or so. Just couldn't miss these in the pre sale, even though the sale ended on April 30th Rlaarlo is still offering a 20% discount on the cars.

How long did it take to come? I ordered 2.. red, and orange march 4, and still haven't received them.. Rlaarlo is not communicating anymore..I call DHL and they told me it's in Hong Kong.. Rlaarlo haven't sent it yet..

Hi Mike, the first piece of plastic that you threw away was the chassis protector. I did the same thing, but when I picked it up latter it I realized what it was. Take a look at it and you will see that it is precut and ready to install your on car's chassis. Thoughts?

I bought one without the chain and its a 52 tooth gold plated spur pretty good but you need a 45t pinion, It flies with that gearing absolutely insane for a cheap car
