Before you started work, that car was a death trap, ready to fold in half, now with your skill and experience you have transformed it,back into a super, powerful and safe motor car worthy of the Porsche lineage

If I'd used that laser machine on my first Volkswagen Beetle, I'd be left with a steering wheel and 4 perished tyres.

I love the way Steve hefts his angle grinder with the cut off disc and just starts right into the rear quarter. Like a confident surgeon, he knows exactly what he’s about.

Many thanks for sharing your techniques. I managed to replace a wheel arch last weekend following your advice. Put the new arch inside the quarter panel with a 10~15mm overlap, tacked a few places, cut through the new arch along the cut out of the quarter panel, tacked a few places along the new cut, cut away the 1st tacks and it aligns up perfectly with a nice gap for welding. Absolute amazing method. Was quite a job as I also had to repair the edge of the inner tub but it turned out sweet. Oh, don't point the laser at the Datsun, it might completely disappear :D

You make it look so easy. After watching almost all of your videos I thought I can do that. I needed to do a simple repair on my Porsche's engine tin-ware panel as it had some rust holes in it. I did the carboard template thing, transfered it to new metal, cut the old rusty metal away and tacked in the new plate. Wow I said I can really do this, and then when I come to do the finish weld it went all horribly wrong and I blew huge hole in it an welding wire everywhere. You led me on.
