I'm a lot closer to age to the Dad but I'm also a big Young Pappy fan. Regardless though real recognize real and the Dad is realer in every way than his son. My impression is that Pops manned up and did what he had to do to get out of the situation he grew up in and raise a family in a nicer environment w/ a better education than he had. So it must be frustrating for him that in spite of making those sacrifices so his kid would have a better upbringing the kid is still infatuated and mimicking the gang/street culture he sees in his favorite rappers. I'm sure in the end the kid will turn out ok because of his environment and good parenting but as it stands now he's completely unbearable and lacking his own identity. Typical suburban teenager I guess. Shout out to the Dad though for trying to drop knowledge to the kid.
