Andrea Storm Kaden’s voice fits so many characters in a way that it is recognizable yet different. Her ability to sing so beautifully makes all the songs she’s featured in an enjoyable experience with JT Machinima’s music. Everyone did such a wonderful job on this Poppy Playtime song. I love it! Wish I was this talented. But hope all the support helps to keep these amazing songs going. They truly are unique and are something refreshing to people who listens to fan-made game songs more then radio played pop songs (like me)!

You could send this to someone who's never played Poppy Playtime and they'd assume it's just a song with a bunch of metaphors.

Me too! Different meanings can be taken when the lyrics only vaguely reference the game’s lore. And this song sounds fantastic too, so there’s also that aspect that sweetens the deal.

@@quit10374 No, this is definitely an “inspired by” song. When it comes to music, mentioning feeling like a “doll” or the idea of death is very common, so it doesn’t stick out. Without the game’s context, this just sounds like the upbeat song somebody made after getting out of an abusive and controlling relationship.

This is awesome! The ticking, music box, timer and general machinery/worktools sounds in the background really sell the toy idea imo and the Toony brass section right at the beginning reminds me of thse old marching band wind up toys-

You can detach the meaning of the song from the game and interpret it that way, actually. There’s no real reference to Playtime co, Huggy Wuggy or anything Poppy playtime related. So yeah, she does sound cheated on
