You can actually use the Flare Finger Gun in the final confrontation with Catnap to see if the one that's there is real or not. It's a small detail that they didn't need to add, but I'm glad they did.

In the origanal idea of Miss Delight, she actually moved when the lights were off, stopping when they were on. You looking at her had no effect. They relised that was way too compicated, changing her to weeping angles/scp 173/endos for simplicity

The irony of saying Poppy's eyes look like she's on drugs when all the living toys are literally marinating in opium sauce. Accurate! And Catnap was DEFINITELY dying from that electrocution. It set his internal red smoke reservoir on fire inside him, and it was right next to his fleshy bits.

Nobody’s noticing the Silent Hill PT inspiration in the hallway scene I feel so old. Never-ending hallways, loud bangs from doors as you walk past them (basic but effective), a guy on the radio giving a news report that then begins randomly addressing the player character in snippets. Watch a playthrough of that game if you’ve never heard of it. You’ll see what I mean.

I'm honestly extremely glad that Poppy Playtime has only been getting better as the chapters are added. The start was really rough, but so far, the payoff for sticking through it all has been more than worth it. Thanks, MOB Entertainment.

​@ultimatecultchaos there's actually some historical framing that makes sense. Playtime Co building a MASSIVE factory is excessive, but that's nothing. The important thing to remember is that Playtime Co existed during WW2 and the Cold War. Building a subterranean archeology means the whole place doubled as a nuclear fallout shelter during the height of the Red Scare, when everyone was afraid America and the USSR just glassing each other with nukes. The Playcare also likely existed back when it was common and normal to have uranium in paints, so they probably had no idea what the lack of natural sunlight does to the body and mind. Playcare was SAFE from the apocalypse, which is what would have made it so appealing.

If Prototype's God and Dogday's is Judas, does that make Catnap Jesus?

It is clear that games always improve with more that get added to their series from lessons, and this is an example of how expanding what you make can improve it if you are passionate

Chapter 3 is definitely the best so far, I’d say it was worth the wait, really went all out with the horror and the dark stuff. Love your Vanny art. ❤️

People compare the Prototype to the Mimic, wheh really their speech is closer to Bumblebee from the Transformers. ....So that means we need to get Megatron to finally kill the Prototype in Chapter 4

In my personal opinion, i think CatNap really tought the prototype was there to save him, at first he is scared of "failing" him, then the prototype's hand turns into a motion of "come with me", a friendly way to put your hand to someone for them to trust you. This plus considering CatNap has alredy been in some kind of accident or on the brink of death, and he was saved by the prototype (Ollie tells us this), who sacrificed their own freedom to save CatNap (this is probably a misunderstanding seeing how Prototype opperates, but that is how CatNap sees it at least) tells us that CatNap trusted prototype, probably feared him, but saw him as kind of benevolant towards those who follow him, therefor, he gets back up, and trusts him, just to get impaled by the "friendly" hand of trust. Also i think your pastra's linked channe on the description is wrong? It says @ and then a bunch of random letters and numbers, and when clicking on it, it goes to a blank youtube page with a message of page not available.

Chapter 3 was really good for indie horror because 2023 and 2024 so far have been trash games like Garten of Ban Ban and other low effort mascot horror games, I think the next chapter(s) will be as good as this one, maybe even better.

One of my favorites things about the dogday reveal is that in almost every promotional peice/art work that he has his arms are outstreatched like that, even in the cartoon shown at the begining after catnap arives. Such cool forshadowing

The dogDay part scared me

Near the end when someone mentioned catnap basically stalking the player throughout the game til the end just made me realize I think they utilized the fact that cats stalk their prey. The player is literally just PREY to catnap. He's simply stalking you until the right moment/near the end and then decides to attack. So cool, personally to me, that catnap has a cat aspect/trait to him. Also the fact that dogday is the ONLY one who lived (miss delight died, catnap died, and the smiling critters are inside of dogday.) makes me think that either hes making a comeback in the next chapter or its just that he's gonna die alone and controlled.
