6:52 This is the most depressing tape in my opinion. They are saying ‘goodbye’ to a kid who has been selected by a doctor as if it is some happy day for him…but no. The children are all unaware of the situation that’s going on behind the scenes. Samuel never left the factory. They may have seen him again. He may have recognised them…but they wouldn’t have recognised him. The orphans didn’t know what’s going on or what really happened until it was too late.

@@fashiontrend3289 Possibly could be, due to the fact that we haven't seen Ollie in person in game and maybe poppy just knows Ollie as a person who communicates with them through digital devices,so Ollie could be anyone and that anyone could be the Prototype himself hence the Prototype's ability to mimic people's voices. So theoretically, the Prototype just uses a random child's voice to blindly deceive poppy into thinking that it is some ally that also stands against the Prototype, and as we the player slowly kills all the obstacles (Hw,Mml,Catnap) the Prototype has placed against us, the Prototype gets to scavenge their corpses to use it for his advantage just like what mml said before being shredded: "You'll make me part of him" Btw sorry for writing such a long ass paragraph💀 this lore is getting too interesting.

eric true’s voice acting in vhs 4 is one of my favourite pieces of voice acting i’ve heard in a while. the way he can completely flip the tone of the tape through a shift in his voice is so unnerving, and the way he says ‘teeth and meat and plastic’ IS SO GOOD I LITERALLY CANNOT GET OVER IT, it’s so agonising.. well done eric !!

tape 12 really puts into perspective as to how twisted and orientated the prototype is compared to anything else in the series , compared to all the other chapters antagonists. While all of the creations from the bigger body initiatives have their own reasons for revenge it’s weird how the prototypes backstory hasn’t been revealed yet there seems to be such a complicated history between it and the company and after hearing it convey how confused it is due to the awakening of its emotions ; the prototype surprisingly feels the most human out of all the antagonists in the series.

@@Moompl I personally think the series is gonna take a stretch beyond just the bigger bodies initiative and the process of manipulating life through poppy has and creating artificial life through the toys ; the prototype seems like the first toy capable of emotion and thought , I mean we have sissy and dog day and other minor characters but the prototype is capable of creating machinery , mimicking voices and from what it looks like in tape 12 , appears to be an amalgamation of personalities which is what leads to such a sporadic change of ideology ; you see it in constant anguish in imprisonment only to hide its suffering and begin to mastermind a plan that would lead not only to the subservience of all the toys but the extermination of all the humans ; and most notable of all unlike any of the other toys it seems to have an actual interest in WHY the suffering of all these people was required for it to have reached the point of chapter 4. Of all words you can use to describe the prototype, human feels callously fitting.

14:18 This moment scared me when I was playing this chapter. I feel so bad for Jeremy in this tape. Samuel Lee, too, as well. Jeremy was about to have a chance to escape from this hellish place and have a family to love but unfortunately it was too late for him 😢💔 Spoilers: I just can't help but feel bad for the Hartmann family since they want to adopt Jeremy but can't since the forms said testing, meaning that Jeremy has been taken for testing for experiments for the bigger bodies initiative. What's worse? Is that Stella doesn't know of these experiments that Playtime Co. Is conducting. I guess some employees dont know much of the secret experiments going on in the factory, and they were just doing their job normally. This comes to show how secretive Playtime Co. is with what they're doing. Nevertheless, with the Hour of Joy tape, it didn't matter who got killed. Guilty or innocent, everyone was slaughtered by the toys rebelling

Why is everyone assuming Stella didn't know? From her job interview tape alone it is clear she would have supported what Playtime Co. was doing. She saw the living toys, she *knew* who they were and what they were capable of; that's why the Game Station only has a recording of her voice - otherwise, Mommy would have attacked her. Though, I think there was some genuine good in Stella and she supported both the BBI project and the adoptions, which is why she was taken aback and upset when she realized Jeremy can't be adopted. Her inability to explain the Hartmanns what was happening was more likely her trying to play dumb so she wouldn't reveal the factory's secrets than it was of her "not knowing" - and she did know.

@@CJ55981i absolutely agree. stella had to have known that the orphans were being experimented on to be turned into toys. if anything, i think she was surprised that jeremy was selected at all and then obviously couldn’t tell the hartmanns why they couldn’t adopt him edit: i just remembered, in the chapter 3 arg she wrote how the children were scared of but eventually became used to catnap when he was created and added to playcare - therefore she definitely knew

The EAS alert is freaking terrifying. It reminds me of analog horror like local 58. And why would a toy company even have its own EAS system set up to begin with? Emergencies must be really common at Playtime co.

I call it right now, Ollie is the prototype. When miss delight is talking on VHS 7 if you listen to the voice closely it sounds kinda like ollie except more sinister and hiss on top of the that it nail in the coffin for me is that it can change its voice, I have watched 2 full playthroughs and find it odd they just all of a sudden want to help.

I love how the tapes have really told there very own story of the factory. And it definitely gives more in sights of what is going on behind the scenes especially with the experiments.

VHS 7 and 12 really shows how insane they are. Miss Delight kept on asking someone where are the children and admitted that she would *kill them all*. The prototype is completely insane with someone of something mimicking the scientist. This makes fnaf bite of 87 look like a kiss more than a bite.

There's a bunch of stuff in VHS 12 that can be discussed, like how The Prototype's collective consciousness swaps based on how The Prototype refers to itself, between Elliot Ludwig, the founder, in first-person and the children, in the third. The first and last lines spoken from The Prototype to the doctor is in first-person: "I.. POSSESS.. a question" and "Absolutely! I learn something NEW about YOU... everyday", respectively. 1006, The Prototype is the first experiment that retained a majority of its intellect and skills -- Coordination and cooperation is in his skillset" -- after surgery, leading to the rapid advancement in the efficiency of creating more toy abominations. This is important, for that in the VHS it reveals the relationship The Prototype had with the Doctor: who is actually on top? All of the other experiments are basically as intelligent as a brainwashed orphan child, usually less, and are either not able to hold conversation, respond at all, are hostile, or don't survive very long. But The Prototype reveals that it, too, is studying the Doctor, presumably the staff and the evil company by proxy, giving an awkward, unnerving feeling to its last line of dialogue. There is the shift in the momentum of who exact is in charge and in control in the long-term. Initially, the Doctor spoke with a lot of unjaded confidence, but when The Prototype thanks him, he is caught off guard. The Prototype speaking in first person is interesting, as the Prototype could have easily have said "We learn something new...", referring to the collective of all consciousness in The Prototype amalgamation, but it speaking in first person and mimicking the Doctor could have been Elliot's consciousness itself at the helm of the entity; Elliot directly talking to the Doctor himself, ADULT VS. ADULT. This can also be interpreted by the demonic voice that says "DO YOU FEEL IT?" being the collective malice and revenge the victims feel, or perhaps Elliot and his own personal edge against the harm of children and the removal of their smiles. The demonic voice can't be an actual individual's voice -- unless an orphan has smoked a pack of cigarettes a minute between classes to sound so deep. Interesting enough to note, the first line "I... POSSESS.. a question" at first sort of sounds like the Doctor, but when you look into it, it sounds more like Elliot's voice from the car-ride upon entering Playcare, struggling to speak. This can be linked to how even though Elliot, the centre of the processing ability and capability of The Prototype, he has lost his identity, some memories, and his overall demeanor of being up-right and jolly. Wherein, the one line of dialogue from The Prototype states: "You stick us. Beat us. Tear at flesh. DO YOU FEEL IT", it referring to itself as "us" in varying voices of age and gender. Like, it literally sounds like a different child is up to the plate and is now the representative speaker for the collective being, enabled by Elliot in the background. The aforementioned capability is a trait that the player character uniquely shares as well, as granted by Poppy herself and DogDay in the prison, when explaining why she prevented you from leaving the factory in Chapter 2. The capability to not simply get shit done, but the ability to bring actual smiles and peace -- a savior, a guardian angel -- from "above" which could be seen as those who are on the surface, above Playcare underground literally. The player being an ex-employee returning to the factory for whatever reason -- they may be a director -- is seen as an angel. You are the only currently known employee who has willingly returned to the factory with the intent to save people, and kill of large body monsters (Huggy Wuggy (not dead, probably), Mommy, CatNap, Miss Delight,) that are killing everyone, including smaller toys and children. Poppy lets you know how much you mean to the factory, and how you might be able to bring about peace and "end this". Conversely, The Prototype is also said to bring peace to the factory, especially after The Prototype brought about the hour of joy and ruined the company. Because The Prototype does not need sustenance to survive apparently, the toys that die and have their flesh decayed or eaten have their plastic/metal parts added to The Prototype. However, their consciousness is still absorbed even without organic matter. In a sense, he has "saved" that child, by keeping them alive and staving off their hunger-pains, whilst being able to "live" if you can call it that. The capability to bring smiles doesn't have to be a good thing. As in, the dolls that are murderous and hungry smile when they see fresh meat walk into the facility. The Hour of Joy could bring smiles on the faces of the experiments and children; their torturers and captors dying finally, ending their pain which is only a short-term, temporary solution.

Ollie could theoretically be the prototype because the prototype can mimic voices and sounded like ollie for a second and the reason he was helping is becuase he could have wanted catnap dead so he could collect his body and the ability to spout red smoke out

However, if the prototype wanted catnap dead, he could’ve done it easily but no he saved catnap and made him like that. Catnap offered himself to the prototype at the end as he wanted to be a part of the prototype. So it doesn’t make sense if the prototype wanted catnap dead when the prototype was the one who made catnap stay alive for a while.

In VHS 9, you can hear Laith Pierre say that Dr. Sawyer is ‘out’ and that they need to find his ‘replacement’. This means at some point between 1991 and the Hour of Joy, he is no longer involved in what is going on. That’s one my biggest questions going into Chapter 4… did he die? And if so, how did he? Maybe the prototype killed him? That’s going to be nagging at me until part 4 comes out!!!!

Poppy describes it aswell,my jaw dropped because of that VHS tape,in my own opinion, (please don't start a war in the reply section)I don't think they deserved all that to happen to them,but on the other hand,they did transform them into some toys,so this is a hard choice to make, however,i agree that they did not deserve that,i bet nobody expected that to happen. Man, I feel bad for Kevin's friend in VHS 6, he's just wanna check if Kevin is alright or not and he didn't know that there would be his last time he meets Kevin and even worse, he's gonna die too either being experimented or being the Hour of Joy victim.

The terrifying part about VHS 11 (the emergency alert), is that when this report went out at 11:00 to 11:01, when the Hour of Joy had started... The broadcaster gets cut off midway. After only half a minute, before something hijacked it to announce the Hour of Joy.

I think that this proof that BATIM and Playtime are completely different things entirely. The BATIM Universe actually has a somewhat happy ending and it’s confirmed that the whole thing was just a different reality. But this is taking place during real time. Everything that was shown actually happened, not just in a different dimension. Just goes to show how much more tragic Playtime is. So many people worked at Playtime Co and all except for ourselves were killed just like that, even if they had no idea about the experiments. it’s just sad honestly. I pray to god that no of the orphans still alive were harmed during the Hour of Joy. If they weren’t, then one of them was probably Ollie.

People died in BATIM and BATDR too. All those who became the characters, like Buddy Boris. And in BATDR the Gent building is full of bodies, and everything in the Cycle is based on a real world location in Bendy universe, so all the bodies are real.

Yeah Rich's tape was found in the rejected toy section in chapter 2

I wouldn't be surprised if Ollie ends up as The Prototype, it would be a cool nod and reference to Shodan in System Shock 2 or if even Poppy pulls a Frank Fontaine moment from BioShock

Honestly. I love the voice of the scientist in the 12th. For some reason, I didn't notice the prototype was mimicking - or rather - _repeated_ the last sentence of the scientist at the end.

The vhs 13 some people are lucky that left playtime co.

Why is no one talking about VHS 10? Stella’s wiki page suggests that she is sinister for partaking in letting children be tested on but this tape suggests otherwise. We don’t know the whole story just yet, but comparing this to her job interview tape in chapter one, she sounds heartbroken and defenseless. She came to Playtime Co. with the intent of being a beacon of light and joy for children, but I think somewhere along the way she saw what was taking place and maybe was coerced or threatened into being a part of it so that she couldn’t tell anyone outside of the factory. She sounded genuinely enthusiastic about getting an orphan adopted and as far away from that shitshow as possible, and then horrified to see that Jeremy was already being turned into a toy as they spoke. I feel so bad for her. I really hope we get to know more about Stella and what happened to her in the upcoming chapters.

Finally someone wrote this! In my opinion, Stella was not aware of these events and was threatened when she learned about them. I hope we can learn her story in the future. Maybe we can even find a VHS where she talks to someone about these events!

What I find interesting about VHS 11 is the the Emergency Alert System was launched in 1997 nationwide in the United States, and the Hour of Joy takes place in 1995, 2 years prior to it's national activation. I find it interesting that Playtime Co. has an alerting system that (technically) shouldn't exist yet, but regardless, that still says a lot about how HUGE the facility is for it to have it's own broadcasting division, and its own dedicated Emergency Alert System.

why does the scientist on VHS 12 remind me so much of William Afton 😭??

I'm not a big fan of poppy playtime, and at first i thought its kinda stupid, but oh gosh... 'the hour of joy' is truly terrifying..

Honestly, the EAS tape is by far the creepiest considering it's the Hour Of Joy slaughtering many employees.

Bro tape 12 is definitely “The Doctor” from Project Playtime. Harley Sawyer. It’s the same voice. I kinda figured he was the one that built the prototype but to see it out in the open like this. Puts a lot into perspective.

VHS 10 is my favourite because it sounds more like scary, because when Hartmann family wanted to adopt Jeremy, And they get shocked that in the adoption papers said testing, and she couldn't told them that what was happening

also, when you put the tape, after some time a laser appears at the right of the tv, that means that 1006 is observing us (1006 crafted a laser pointer made of watch batteries and other things, also he used that laser to disable the camera on the room he was being kept on)

I think the 8th tape is important. Richie has shown up in all 3 chapters. I just can't decide which theory I'm going with. Is he the prototype? Is he the player character?
