What the Pope is saying is that like all Catholics I am weak, I'm not perfect but I try to do my best to serve God . We are all sinners. It sums up my understanding of the Catholic religion and it's why I will always remain a Catholic.

If the whole world will only see the sins of the Church, all are doomed, hypocrites and will be dark. But let's remember that God came to show that we are loved even if sinners and to bring light. Priests are also sinners but it's God's grace that saves them in the same way we are also saved from our scandalous sins.
