Pope Francis to Take 8-Week Liturgical Break: Preparing for Major Fall Trips

This summer, Pope Francis is taking an 8-week break from his liturgical schedule, with no public Masses planned from July 8 to September 1. As he prepares for the longest international trip of his pontificate in September, this break allows him to rest and rejuvenate. Notably, the 87-year-old pope will continue to lead the Sunday Angelus from the Apostolic Palace.
Despite this break, Pope Francis has been active, presiding over the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul and convening a consistory of cardinals. Upcoming travel plans include a pastoral visit to Trieste on July 7 and a two-week tour of Southeast Asia and Oceania in the fall, with stops in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and Singapore.

Wow the crowds are always so sparse and few to see him. Not a surprise but thought they would hide that better.
Praise the Lord God our Father. Lord show us your mercy and heal our ailments. Protect us against Corona Virus Pandemic. For our family and near and dear ones. For our spiritual and temporal wants. For the Pope bishops priests religious and all Catholics of the world. Thanksgiving for favours received. Thank you Jesus thank you Holy Father

I pray for our Holy Father. I hope he can use this time to reflect on his heresy, his hated of tradition minded Catholics the world over, his support for sexual abuse in the Church and his silencing of any voice opposed to the aforementioned.
