Let me clarify the context of the conversation. We were at JFK airport awaiting our flight to participate in a working pilgrimage at Lourdes with The North American Volunteers. It was during the papacy of Benedict XVI and The Cafeteria is Closed”. The media picked up and ran with the labels of liberal or conservative Catholics. My position was that there are no liberal Catholics and one cannot pick and choose what you believe. Our pilgrimage pastor replied with the above comment “…faithful and unfaithful.”

Yes, I do agree with the statement that Francis should resign. Praying for cafeteria Catholics- I was one without really thinking about it, but thankfully found Traditional Catholicism which turned my life around, Deo Gratis.

Christ's Church is not a democracy. Pray and fast for those whose decision it is and for them to proceed in the manner Our Lord wills. We as laity like to pretend we have more authority and knowledge than we do. There are a select few in the Vatican who can accuse a Pope a heretic and no one in the video or watching has the authority to make such a statement. Even if we are correct, Christ established a hierarchy and this is what we are called to pray and fast for in addition to our own families and circle of people in our lives.

Hello from Indonesia,Dr.Marshall.. i just got baptized this Easter, i was a devout muslim before. I wanted to share a story of mine where a priest in the Cathedral here refused to give communion on the tongue. A little background about me, i learned about the history of catholic church, Trent council, Vatican II council, and i am a happy trad. I wear mantilla to Mass and in the presence of the Blessed Host. I take communion by kneeling and on the tongue. And i just experienced the refusal of a priest to give me the right as a Catholic. Because i didn't want to make a scene, so i took the Host to my mouth and i got up. The Mass was on live streaming, but when the priest giving the Holy communion, the Blessed Host was on the screen.

Rosaries should also be offered for Russia's consecration. Contrary to popular belief, the Consecration of Russia was not done according to Our Lady of Fatima's request by 4 Popes now. The wording was changed and only Russia was to be consecrated. Had they done what they should have, Russia should have converted to the Catholic faith by now and by that it would be the Catholic faith prior to Vatican ll and all it's garbage. Then we will see the restoration of the Church and a time of Peace. Our Rosaries must be more fervent than ever for this.

Thank you Dr. Marshall for bringing us truth and hope. It is time for us to strengthen our faith and relationship with God, stay faithful in the church, pray non stop, and unite to fight against evil. God is good all the time.

9:50 Never saw abuse involving crimes against nature in my public high school school over 30 years. Catholic principal screened out such persons. 4 of 5 were such in the church. Bishops did not screen such candidates but rehabbed and reassigned reoffenders. The 4 cases I saw the offenders were promptly removed and terminated shortly thereafter. Will that change? IDK.

Thank you Dr. Marshal for pointing out that we shouldn’t act as though having a lower rate of ab*se than the public schools is something we should be touting. As a child I experienced CSA from a man in the church my parents went to, it was not a Catholic Church, but I’m sharing this because I want people to know how damaging, and traumatizing this is for a child. I’m 35 years old, and I still struggle with the affects of what I experienced. If even one child has experienced this from someone who is in the Catholic Church, be it a priest, a cardinal, a lay person, whomever, we must demand they are rooted out, and absolutely experience the full weight of both church and government consequences, and absolutely not protected from them by the leaders in our church.

I’m very sorry about what happened to you. You are totally right we should be less defensive and more sober about this risk. Priests get more demonic attacks because of how many souls can be affected so we should never assume anything about a priest or what he is battling no matter how good they appear and should assume that those who are clearly lukewarm or otherwise not demonstrating holiness are likely capable or much more malevolence than an average person. It’s exact same with nuns I went to a catholic school and 3/5 were physically and emotionally abusive to kids in ways that were over the top sadistic/ far beyond mere corporal punishment, especially the most vulnerable scholarship kids bc they knew the parents wouldnt object. So many of my friends fell away because what they saw in that school. I’m against the synodality but I think every diocese should have an independent laity tribunal responsible for oversight and investigation it’s a conflict of interest for the hierarchy to police itself in this way.

I'm so very sorry for evil abuse you endured. I've been learning over the years that those who were abused are affected for life. Someone I know online was abused by priests when he was an altar server in Boston in the 70s/80s. He said about a year ago that he was going to address the damage it's caused in his life. He was one of the people who went before the courts in Boston to appeal the statute of limitations. We have not heard from Joe since shortly after that and many of us think that he may have taken his life. Please pray for the repose of Joe's soul.

Someone or some group is always fighting with the Pope. Just can’t please them all, and I hope he stays his ground, as I find people and groups in their own hearts are twisting things around to deceive themselves (and then others) to thinking that the Pope is a bad person. Indeed. It would be nice; if he were elected pope at noon, he'd have the Church exorcised and the wicked clergy defrocked in time for scotch and cigars on the papal balcony by sunset. Perhaps a bit of hyperobole - it would be a big job. But Lord willing, he may be one of the few up to such a monumental undertaking.

Indeed, oftentimes, I find myself irritated by your delivery. However, insofar as I am able to judge; your orientation is irreproachable, and your love of Christ, Holy Mother Church, and the faith is unequivocal and unquestionable. You are a Catholic of great fidelity and integrity. You are a Crusader of substance. I realise this may not be a good question to raise publicly, for good reason. However, I'm perplexed as to how it is you were not asked to deliberate upon and co-sign the letter of which you speak. You are far from controversial. If anything, you are forthright and, at the same time, respectful to a fault. How many of those on the list are converts? In my humble opinion, as a disenfranchised husband and father of a family under siege (without a KZread channel), I believe your name ought to have been on that letter. I regard you as a leader and a pillar of the international Catholic community.
