How is he still so beautiful?? The man is in his fifties, and he's still so handsome! I was literally obsessed with Albert. Matthew was just an incredible actor. He could draw such raw emotion, no matter what role he was playing. He was amazing. I remember him in “Shattered Spirits”. He was incredible. That was back when they used to do a lot of made for TV movies on regular channels. It was just mesmerizing to watch him. I wish that he would come to some of the cons because I would love to tell him in person exactly how incredible of an actor I think that he was.

Jaden Yuki has the following distinctions from the other main protagonists of Yu-Gi-Oh!: He is the only one to have "Yu" as the first part of his surname instead of his given name. He is the only one whose first name is different in the Japanese and English versions. He is the only one whose color palette does not contain any blue (Yugi's uniform is blue, Yusei's eyes and jacket are blue, Yuma's bracelet is dark blue with light blue gems on it, Yuya's pendant and the star on the right lens of his googles are light blue, Yusaku's hair contains two shades of blue, Yuga's gloves and shoes are blue, and Yudias Velgear's hair and clothing contains multiple shades of blue). He is the only one whose results of his series' final Duel are unknown (not counting Yuma and Yuya's Duels against Cathy and Yusho, respectively, as those Duels were not seen). His final Duel is also the only one that wasn't against either a partner (like Yugi, Yuma, and Yusaku) or a primary rival (like Yusei, Yuya and Yuga), as he instead faced the previous main protagonist. He is the only one whose supernatural powers do not include mid-Duel card edits. Jaden's power also do not directly relate to dueling/drawing, as they are instead directly towards the Monster Cards themselves when he chooses to manifest them (usually not in dueling situations).

In the 70s, as a shy loner kid with a creative streak, I envied child actors because they were well liked and famous. Looking back now, I don’t think I had it in me for that kind of work. Now, I wish I had the opportunity to do behind the scenes stuff like screenwriting and storyboarding, but I bet a lot of us wanted that work back then.

Matthew in “Weird Science” but “Little House on the Prairie” was where Matthew really showed his talent. I’m big on the golden age of Hollywood, and I remember Ray Bolger, Red buttons, too many to count appeared on Little House on the Prairie. I remember Ike Eisenman and Kimberly Richards from “Escape from Witch Mountain” Another big actor who appeared on a couple of episodes on little house was “Sean Penn” he was on the episode called, i believe Tinker Jones. Jimmy McNichol Etc. It must have been something to live out there in California during the 1970s and 1980’s I’m watching the “Walton’s” now lol

Here's a crossover film: Dark Star. It was sci-fi, but had some horroresque elements (probably because it was John Carpenter) and comedy. Then there's the sci-fi/chick flick crossover, like Kate & Leopold or Time After Time I grew up watching Little House and always loved everything Michael Landon did. I also always loved Matthew Labyorteaux, especially Whiz Kids (back in the old dial-up days!) Thanks for this wonderful interview!

Wow! Posted on my birthday! So happy I keep catching Matthew on some current Youttube vlogs. I'm about a year and a half older thatn Matthew. My first remembrance of Matthew is a after school special called "Papa and Me" with Joseph Mascolo. It has always been my life long dream to meet him in person. Matthew if you see this I have always been a great fan of yours! Hate that you got out from in front of the cameras. Miss seeing your work.

So the voiceover from the morphine episode has Albert coming back to Walnut Grove as Dr but town blown up in last episode. So I kinda like to think in my mind Albert was misdiagnosed, did not have leukemia, survived, the town rebuilt for railroad kinda like Dr Quinn and Albert returned. How about that for a reboot 2023? lol Let's get this reboot made guys.

I feel that child actors should be protected. Luckily Michael Landon was good to everyone but not all all actors have such luck. Children should only act if they want to. Often parents force their children to be breadwinners, and that's so wrong. I know the story of Jay North, tragic abuse. Will Wheaton, etc.
