interesting fact: the crew said it took Stolas's VA only a few tries to do the song, and they didn't cut the final take so you can hear VA's breath and how broken his voice sounds sometimes, that's because the actor was actually crying during the recording, and brought to tears everybody in the studio

We've likely not seen his actual form and it could explain why he described Stolas as "The owl boy", he's probably been screwing around in all sorts of forms with different types of demons xd

Okay, but Paimon ISNT actually Stolas’s father in the original Lore, they’re both part of the 72 Ars Goetia that Solomon put under his control to build the temple…I’m reading the texts right now due to the obsession I have with this show lol 😂😅

So someone translated the book page about Asmodean crystals, and the gist of it is that the crystals are granted by Asmodeus to demons such a succubus, so they can access earth to fulfil their duty :)

I know a lot of people clown on this episode, mainly because of the flashbacks, but I really enjoy it. Stolas' song is one of my favorites from the show.

One thing that I love so goddamn much about this season is the sheer amount of “oh my fucking god THATS why [X] is like this?!!??!?” is absolutely insane. Like everyone laughs at/comments on Stella sitting right across from Stolas ordering his death and he just doesn’t hear a word she says-when you realize she does NOTHING but shit talk him constantly OF COURSE he tunes her out and stopped listening, he has his own Concerns~ now. And he’s so comfortable with Blitzø at the start of that episode, more casual and relaxed than he’s ever been around Stella when they’re just lounging in bed. This show is fucking KILLING me idk how much more hell i got left in me yall edit: actual tears in my eyes about you and elijah having the exact same reaction to Stella nearly hitting Stolas

The ironic thing is that and not trying to defend his bad actions, And I'll try to be spoiler free Paimon is the least worst dad in the past (Stolas' dad) He gives Stoals and the other children food, housing, and a job Cash (Blitz dad is more manipulative and a greedy man who doesnt mind giving his son away for however little money, it is money regardless Then a future dad you'll meet in later episode is the worst out of these 3

yippee favorite episode!

I have mixed feelings about what was shown in the flashbacks in this episode. On the one hand, it was both interesting and cute, and I saw in it a good reference to the Prince of Egypt, like Stolas - Ramses, Blitz - Moses and Paimon - Seti I. Like the theme of friendship between the royal heir and a child from a race that serves his family, and the father monarch, tough and demanding of his son. Oh, and from there the groundwork of the conflict, why Blitzo thinks that the supreme does not care about them, and interesting things about the Elders and Juniors Goeti, who gave rise to the theory of the slowing down of the flow of time in Hell compared to the Earth, or vice versa, acceleration, as well as in I'm basically comparing it to Greek mythology. But on the other hand to me, their relationship and the characters themselves are seen as Tony "Lip" Vallelonga and Donald "Don" Shirley from the movie Green Book, again well-read and major, brutal and armed individuals whose paths cross by the will of fate, and they may not get along at first, but then they get into each other. That is, if Stolas wasn't shown as a child, but as a full-fledged adult, formed ancient demon who hires and twists a relationship with Blitzo that grows into something more.
