Our kitten became paralyzed from a freak accident. I rushed him to the vet and they took X-rays too, but there wasn’t anything broken. They suggested putting him down cuz he wasn’t moving at all, just breathing. I ended up taking him home and buying jarred baby food, like chicken and beef, mixed it with water and fed him with a syringe. I kept him in a small pet bed with blankets and warm water bottles to keep his temp stable. Made diapers for him, and changed him when he needed to be changed. Gave him warm baths and massaged his limbs in the water. In about 2 months he started to move a lil. He was like a fish out of water flopping. Then he slowly got better, and recovered fully. It was crazy, but he did make a full comeback. You’d never guess that he use to be paralyzed.

I hope someone has adopted him to take care of him. Paralyzed cats can live reasonably happy lives.

Yeah, maybe, but this kitten had severe nerve damage that completely disables its bladder... I don't know how happy that makes any living being.

Yes, please update us on the condition of this kitty's health. I would be more than happy to take care of this poor little angel and love him and maybe all of my love can put strength in his back legs so that he may be able to walk again someday. My thoughts, exactly! It was kicked in the back where his back torso & legs meet.

This happened to my puppy one day he wasn't able to walk and wasn't peeing I took him to the vet. And they did so many tests and x rays and couldn't find anything wrong. They did find that his liver levels were high and thought it was a liver shut but it wasn't. They put him on antibiotics and a few hours later he was able to start walking and the next day he was completely fine. So strange do you know what it could have been?

Hate it when this kind of thing happens to animals. Saddest thing I ever saw was a tiny bear cub that was paralysed because someone took a shovel to its back legs. Anyhow I hope this little guy is okay.

"Unknown Lady Walks In... Walks back out" that happend when the dr was pinching the kittens leg XD

Wait a minute that was the same car I saved two years ago when I was on the way to school! The same back leg was broken because I got run over by a car and it was laying in the road and I got out my car and stopped traffic just to save the kitten.
