Man, you're working with some fine wood. I really like the laser sketch on the table tops. It looked really cool being printed. Your projects have nice details and terminations!

@Don Distrito I got lucky and was able to save some firewood on this build. You are right, this is some really good looking cedar, but I...just...couldn't...find a use for these pieces the way they were cut. After I milled them down, they came out super nice, as you pointed out. The laser engraver is super cool to me, I love it a lot. I'll get one of my own sometime for sure. I appreciate your great feedback Don, stuff like this helps me make sure I'm either doing the right thing or gives me something to improve on. I always look forward to your correspondence. @Toni Holt You can probably make this wood do some pretty amazing things too!! It's all in how you handle it after you've developed your plan. Thanks so much. I wish you closer also. This is an amazingly simple and fun build. I hope to have a shop where people can come and work with me someday...like a community woodshop type thing or something would be awesome. @broddrick peters The name of your 3D printer friend doesn’t *need* to be Juan, but mine is, and he is awesome!
