Call in a pool guy. We would drain the water from behind the liner and guide the liner back to the correct position as it drains. Usually with experience you can get it back to normal in an hour

Actually there is good drainage. There was 10 inches of rain in a few hours on top of a soggy spring. The pool is actually situated quite high in the yard.

you need to drain the water behind the shell and then drain the pool, pull out a small section of liner and stick your hoover hose down the back, seal it then turn it on. it will suck the liner back(with help) then re fill pool with hoover on untill pool is 2 inches deep in shallow end. hope this helps.

I am looking at installling a pool. A solution would be to install a drainage system with a large pipe that goes below the bottom of the pool so that if needed you can pump that ground water out with a sump pump.

Sand bags. Eventually the liner pressure exceeds the water in the soil around it and the bags helped hold it down while the water outside the liner drained away.

Hook up your vacum hose to your skimmer stick the other end behind the liner and drain it out liner will tighten it self back in place, rhan when you ready to pull the house out pour a bucket of water bihind the liner around the hose it will let you pull the hose out,

The liner is not the problem. Pool drainage around the pool causes this to happen

I have the same problem. What can be done to prevent this. My liner is two years old and has been stretched so many times... it is now ruined. I am going to have to replace it again next year. I have a very flat yard with no where for the water to go. The pool is surrounded bee concrete and a deck on one side. If anyone has a solution, I would love to hear it.
