    Unfortunately, I did film on the driver side, not the passenger side. I thought the driver side was a bit trickier, due to the wiring. Was your passenger side harder?

    @@cportmikesautomotiverepair1355 honestly, I got those pedals so long ago, I don't remember where. It was somewhere in the US (maybe autozone?) But it was 7 or 8 yrs ago, I think. The Grand Prix door sticker in the door wells was bought from a company called House of Grafx. Here is their website houseofgrafx.com/shop/ You should see an option 'auto make/model' on the left.

    What holds the front of the seat frame rails in? I see no screws in the front

  • @NexusAuto

    @NexusAuto

    3 ай бұрын

    There is no bolts in the front. It actually just slides in! There is 2 openings (like slots) in the ground and the front of the seats have 2 slots sticking out. So after you unbolt the 2 rear screws, you have to tilt the rear of the seat forward, the pull it back while tilted to get the front seat to come out of those openings. Once you take out the rear bolts and tilt forward, you'll see what I mean.

    do you know if you can remove the seat cushion without removing the seat ? or even if you remove the seat from the car are you able to remove the seat cushion ? Mine is broke down and killing my back so I would like to get it repaired.

  • @NexusAuto

    @NexusAuto

    3 жыл бұрын

    You can remove the cushion from the seat, but it has to be done with the seat out of the car, unfortunately. But you can definitely get the cushion foam repaired and even get new upholstery if you wanted to. All the clips and stuff holding the material on is under the seat, so that's why the seat needs to come out

    The motor broke in the full rear position , covering the bolts ........ Now what ?

  • @NexusAuto

    @NexusAuto

    Ай бұрын

    Honestly, that's a great question, and not one I have the answer to. Only thing I could recommend is to make sure the motor is bad, and not a bad connection or blown fuse. Check the fuse first, and then check if there is power at the connector under the seat (if you haven't already). Sometimes it's the simpler things. But if all that checks out, I'm not sure what to do. I wish I had a better answer for you. I even checked me GP to see if I have any easy solutions, but I couldn't think of any directly (should the motor itself be fried). Hopefully it's just a small easy electrical fix and not the motor itself

    Do the front seat rivets slide out? Cuz I see just a big ass rivet in front ...

  • @NexusAuto

    @NexusAuto

    3 жыл бұрын

    If I am thinking of what you are talking about, I think you are just talking about the rivets that hold the frame rails together? There should be no rivets holding the seat into the front of the car. But there is 2 large flat rivets that hold the frame in. There is just 2 metal lips/brackets that slide into the floor pan of the car.

    Can you drive with the passenger seat removed if it has an airbag system, or will the missing seat and airbag send signals to the computer and disable the rest of the airbags? I really wanted the extra space in the front for my dog on road trips.

  • @NexusAuto

    @NexusAuto

    Жыл бұрын

    Hmmm. That's a good question. I've never tried it before. But knowing the electrical system and safety protocols on these vehicles, by removing the passenger seat, it would create an error code in the system. If that error is present, it disables the entire system. It is a really cool idea to have that open area for your dog though.

    If you have cloth seat and you get leather seats do you have heated seats

  • @NexusAuto

    @NexusAuto

    Жыл бұрын

    Nope, unfortunately. The power seats would work, but not the heated seats. It is possible to get the heated seats to work, but you need a few things, including the heated seat controls, which are part of the heater control panel on the center console stack (where you control your in car temperature/AC/defogger/etc)

  • @NexusAuto

    You can, but it would be pretty difficult. You would need to install a switch and your own wiring circuit to control it, along with the motor and track. So it's not easy. But it's possible

    You think 2011 camero seats fit the gtp

  • @NexusAuto

    @NexusAuto

    4 жыл бұрын

    I am not sure. I don't think so, but I am not 100% sure. I tried to look up 2011 camaro seat specs, but could not find good enough details to compare. Technically, almost any car seat can be installed in any car, with the only problems being 1. if you need a mounting bracket fabricated to make it work, and the electrical system for power seats, and connecting it correctly to allow it to work. It may need some extensive work to be compatible, but as I said above, I don't have the answer, unfortunately.
