Melia is all about maximizing her ether attack. You load as many spirits as you can to buff your party, then unleash them one after the other to greater damage. As you do it, you reload them passively. You can use the rest of her skills to keep the enemies at bay while loading the spirits, each of her abilities has been thought with that in mind. Some of her spirits are better in diferent situations, I find that the complexities of Melia are related to thinking what spirit is better to use first/last while you look at what your enemy is doing. But while Shulk is a character that changes it's strategy through movement, Melia does it through thinking. Most of the time you don't need to move at all, just choose carefully what spirit to do next. Be mindful of the different damage you cause and it will just work. Stacking the spirits is the way to go since they give you passive bonus as long as you don't release them. And notice that the AI is famously terrible when using Melia.

Don't have too high expectations for Future Connected. If anything it eludes more to XC3 than it does to XC2. Especially when you won't recognize the "connection" (its a big word in this case, there almost is none) to XC2 at all. Future Connected is just a little epilogue with the main goal to finish Melias story more satisfying and gives the High Entia plot a better ending. The rest is very vague at best and not that important for someone who only played XC1. But I loved to see the voice actors return to their rolls, both were a lot older than they were in XC1s VO, but there is also a one year gap ingame, so Shulk maybe just finished puberty. :D

@@SolitarySaturn I enjoyed it too, there is just nothing really noteworthy happening. It is just nice to see everybody doing good. Although I would have loved to see Ryen, Sharla and the rest of the crew.

@@mrmiesfies3941 I think this is more an opinion shared by people who waited this long for more story with these characters. When playing xenoblade 1 for the first time future connected just acts as a great epilogue. Sure its not as good as the side games in 2 and 3 but its not really trying to be those.

@@kayden2119 Both of you are right. It's disappointing but serviceable, not bad. I enjoyed too. We are just used to... more... when it comes from Xenoblade.

@@Alfonso88279 I don't want to spoil anything for Saturn so I just say that "thing" that is the big "twist" in FC, does not really matter in XC3 and is never mentioned again. That is the only disappointment. Besides that it is what it is, a nice epilogue and more time with Shulk and Melia. And the Bionis Shoulder is a cool area.
