Perfect Classic Period Cinema. Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lakshmi fitted perfectly to the roles carried it off with ease. Indian Cinema requires more talented female actresses to carry of such strong , periodic, mythological roles. No wonder Aishwarya Rai is believed to be beautiful by many But acting. To portray such characters like kundavai and nandini much more talent is expected.

The reason why PS2 is considered average compared to PS1, in my opinion, lies in the faster-paced screenplay and the director's lack of focus on certain main characters. Upon finishing the movie, I felt it concluded rather quickly. Additionally, I believe Mani sir could have included more songs in this film, such as 'Aga Naga,' as many were eagerly anticipating it. In PS1, the characters exhibited more strength and showcased their bravery, a quality that seemed reduced in PS2. Despite these criticisms, the combined experience of both Part 1 and 2 fulfilled the audience's desires.

Disagree...both were great. There will be always a group of jealousy ones to pull down the hard working people. It's their problem and not the problem of the movie itself. PS2 had a lot of story stuffed in.

woow Wonderfull Flim...

Just wow....the number of people used, the number of people who who shaved their heads for this movie, jewelleries, horses, sites, temples, palaces used etc...was just unbelievable. All did their roles well but i see Karthi has done alot of hard work both in PS1 and PS2 compared to others. Aishwarya rai double role was good one too. Just one confusion of why Aishwarya mother protected the king and got killed and why he said sorry was unclear... usually i don't like raja, rani movies but enjoyed this one.
