I started all my tanks super natural and planted. I recently said what the heck I’m gonna make a glo tank. Got a light with a timer, used black substrate with crypts, glo danios and corys… this is now my favorite tank to watch. They all have the best personality and I ended up moving that tank to my bedroom so I can watch them swim around under the blue light before bed. Don’t sleep on the glo fish they are too groovy not to fall in love with!

Hiya Shelby! 5D is definitely impressive operation. One of the cleaner more organized fish farms I’ve seen. I believe I have a video out tomorrow! Won’t be super edited just wanna start putting stuff out there again. I took home some Shrimp for my girlfriend’s daughter. They started spawning right away and now she has so many. It’s been awesome. Good to see you again 🫶🏼

I would never be into these, but i don't care if other people like it. As long as it's done humane, it's all good with me. That being said... when are we going to see your salt setup? I just recently went ham into the salt hobby. I love it.

Very interesting mite start a glow fish tank angel fish look amazing

We started with GloFish and now have multiple aquariums and multiple different kinds of fish. We still have 3 GloFish from or 1st aquarium 7years ago. ❤

Saw this fish at Aquashella Dallas, at the GloFish booth. Interesting

Lol, no mention of the bettas of course. I've been following GloFish since the release of the betta line and was the one to figure out the silent discountenance. There is a lot of questions and mysteries surrounding them. Such as the the Moonrise Pink line that was created, but never released to the public.

That's really awesome!!! I want a tank only with Southamerican species of glowfish: white skirt tetras, x-ray tetras, cory catfish and now Angelfish!!!! 🤩🙌

The glow corys are what's selling me on glowfish. I might actually let my kids set a tank up for some. I'm thinking black sand and obsidian for the rock hardscape

Not sold on his comparison of glow fish to selective breeding of other fish. You can do all the breeding you want, but you will never get a glow variety. You only get that gene because it is introduced by humans. While they do look nice, I’ve never seen anyone who is a true fish hobbiest keep them. He admitted they are geared toward kids. Not against them, just don’t see the point when the number of other varieties are equally impressive. Unless you have a dedicated glow tank, the glow fish sticks out like a sore thumb and makes the tank esthetics look off. I can only imagine what these will cost when they’re out.

How can I buy some angelfish

Feels pretty grim that the beauty of nature isn’t enough for some people. One step further from caring about the fish as real animals, one step closer to them being a commodity. It’s a real shame that money has created these freaks for our amusement.

Those never looked right to me....abomination is a word that comes to mind...and then again who am I to tell another what they can enjoy in their tank. "To each their own".......

Glofish vs actual selective breeding is false comparison fallacy. Without the human inserting a gene, glofish would not have ever existed.
