It's ironic that a country as wet as Scotland a stadium can't play because they aren't prepared enough to deal with the weather. When literally across the road the pitch at Tannadice the stadium was playable. And then blaming global warming to fit your political agenda is just disgusting.

The pitch has terrible drainage and that's been neglected (obvs)...anything else is just smoke and mirrors

The reason it wasn't played last week was to give dundee's pitch more time as it wasn't playable still last week so that becomes irrelevant.

All other pitches in that area, including part time teams, are perfect to play on. The fact is the pitch at dens isn’t even close to required standard

It's nothing to do with the heavy rain.The drainage is the problem. What do you do with a club that can't fulfil it's fixtures? Hibs are basically calling them far worse than Rangers - and it's well deserved.

He has this one wrong. Had this have happened in England, he'd have ripped the club apart responsible. Scottish Championship team Dundee United's stadium is on the same street as Dundee. Their pitch is fine. Simon Jordan doesn't know what he's taking about here.

The pitch problems are what they are and something has to be done about it but, the irony of the statement from the rangers is lost on the rangers and their fans. They have long suffered from a misguided superiority complex which is not shared with any of the other clubs in Scotland, and they need get over themselves 😂😂😂 Well done to Simon, Jim, and talksport for calling them out

No Simon, Dundee are the single most unreliable club in Scotland. Us Aberdeen fans travelled and arrived to Dens Park during snow and floods only to be told the game was off during a last minute pitch inspection. The SFA and Dundee have been equally negligent in their duties to notify travelling support of which includes the home fans too. Time, money and scheduling on all sides down the drain, unlike the water at Dens park.

No agreement has been made about away fans going to the Glasgow Derby Celtic are still in talks for more fans than what Rangers have offered. Also, SKY never said anything about the Dundee v Rangers game being televised Rangers asked Dundee and the SPFL if they could replay the fixture on 10/4/2024 and Dundee Agreed. The lady who phoned in saying she was doing media work is not a journalist her husband has a Rangers podcast and he also is not a journalist.

A week ago it Wass announced that BOTH clubs had agreed to 5% being given from next season to each away fans. The SPFL made the announement mate. It is done. As for the date of the 3rd of April. I believe Rangers requested it not be played then due to the upcoming fixture against Celtic that week. It was Rangers duty & right to ensure their players were not injured on Dens park dodgy pitch and also to be fresh for Celtic, this biggest fixture of the season. Then fact is Dens Park was a mess on the 3rd of April also, even come the weekend on the 6th April 2024, the pitch was not fit to play on and Motherwell raised their complaints about it also but were forced to play on it. This is on Dundee FC, noone else. Have Rangers gone too far woth the complaint, yes they have but they have done no different to all the other clubs who have moaned about Dens Park. It is only because it is Rangers, that people have a problem with.

I love how they're talking about one club and then make it about the "Old Firm". This is about the Rangers, leave Celtic out of it.

The two parts of the pitch that sevco rely on most , the PENALTY spots 12 " inches diameter are damaged and thats where phillipe Phillop has had to rely on for points so they get game abandoned ! If they cant take pen's they lose ! Bookies wont take bets for pens in Glasgow now as Taveniere already has had 52 this year !

Dundee stadium (Dens Park) is at the end of the same road as Dundee Uniteds stadium (Tannandice). They are literally 200 Yards apart. United stadium has not had calls off's and is in great condition. Both are grass pitches. This is nothing to do with the weather, rain and global warming lol. Dundee sacked their groundsmen at start of season and have used volunteers for the pitch since. Dundee just don't want to spemd money on their pitch. It is solely down to Dundee as to why their pitch is shite

I think it’s pretty pathetic that a club who went into administration for - amongst other things - stealing charity / poppy fund money meant for our brave veterans has the brass neck to call another club negligent and unprofessional.

This pitch will still have to host games apart from this one and you can't rely on Scottish weather that it'll be playable in the coming weeks ,Dundee have been negligent the stadium is a dump

The game was supposed to be played at the next conceivable opportunity. This means it could have been played last Wednesday when the weather was actually better but for whatever reason ( a potential league decider v Celtic at the weekend perhaps 🤷🏻‍♂️) the game never took place. As for the League launching Rangers to the lower Division Simon ? Rangers were Liquidated in 2012 and as a Newco had to re apply for a License,the SPFL attempted to drop them straight back into the top flight but were blocked by member Clubs from doing so.

I'm a Rangers supporter and I feel that the statement reflected poorly on our club. Yes, Dundee do have a problem and they need to sort out the pitch but the language used by Rangers was over the top.

Dundee Utd ground is right next door and their pitch is flawless. That’s the issue!!!
