I remember going to Mexico in the 70s... VW bugs EVERYWHERE ! Taxis, police, etc.

Mike - I'm in N.Y - My last few times in Pomona was approx 1998 / at that time I thought the prices was extremely low / bargain compare to east for example saw a 67 / 289 Mustang # 2 Condition for $ 7800 & a 61 T - Bird in 2 cond more like almost a # 1 for $8600 previous own by some hollywood star manager as I was told by the owner . both cars in blue / turquois my color combo / I had a 64 Mercury at the time & couldn't buy it . drop by Fall for Hershey or Carlisle P.A. Fall Classics = 2 biggest swap / show in East. Apology for long story - You AAA+++

Mike, since you asked about prices, I saw some nice patina cars that were worth the asking price--but I saw some others that were rusted wrecks & they would have to pay me the asking price to crush them. ;)

I thought about buying a classic car or truck at the Pomona Sway Meet. However, all of the cars shown are way over priced! I will buy from Maple Motors in Tennessee!!!

I bought a 66 Chevelle from eBay I got it titled and registered in my name but there's no VIN tag on it what would you suggest I do to get another Vin tag I'm in Florida

The VIN should also be stamped somewhere on the frame. I'm sure you can order a new VIN tag from a parts supplier, but you should check if it's legal to use it for registration purposes where you are.

@@MikeFrankovich thank you I found it on the frame it's so hard to see I'll do a frame off when I redo the body mount bushings I heard it's a felony or something to remove that VIN tag but I'm sure it'll work out thanks so much

Like just about everything in life these days. If you are not filthy rich... you can't afford to have anything at all. You live your whole life watching the people with big bucks have everything you can never afford to have.

70 elco for 30k , omg my 55 Chevy is worth 150k then.

VW. Square truck. Way to much

California has lost most of your cars.Do to the wild fires .it's a shame..Value had some of the finest in America. But the invasion .of overseas sales.. They sure rude with there high tech juke box ...Noise folks.....prices are way to expensive at that show.
